You got lucky. You can never get a BOGO offer without both lines being eligible for either an upgrade or an upgrade and an add a line or two add a lines. Basically both lines MUST be eligible for promotional pricing. The phones will both have to be activated and both will have to have the BB data plan.

my line ( the main line) isn't eligible and i was able to get it for me and my wifes line i go thte storm and she got the curve.
