😡 IVE HAD IT! my contract expires in july...and im switching..i wanted to stick to veirzon i really did...theyve always had "the most" reliable service....but this phone crap is really getting on my nerves....had they had it out a month ago which is a decent expectation seeing as sprint has had it out for more than 3-4 months..i would have renewed with them gotten the phone and been happy...but this is just plain rediculous...and to tell u the truth...the network has not been as reliable as it used to be..ive noticed a steady decline in the quality of calls...the prices on the plans are nowhere near what they should be..and this is just hte final straw....Verizon Wireless does not deserve my business...and to all u other verizon customers ...

How are you going to leave a company over a phone i mean come one it a god dam phone. Its like saying hey i want to buy a car..a lexas or a geo the geo has all the same fetures but the lexus comes out in a year or to ( like it would really happen ) but it the dependability of lexus that will get you and the style. see what i am saying

So I was getting really excited about this phone being released today. Now its going to be May, fine. The one thing I started looking at was whether I even care to wait any more for it so I started looking at other phones. Somebody tell me why this phone is so great. Other than the nicer screen and its ability to take videos what really is the difference between the 9900 and 8900? Is this phone really going to be that great, especially if they put a $300+ price tag on it?

This phone will be out by June, at longest June tenth. It will not take any longer no matter what. But, if we are lucky, and I'm confident of this, the phone will be out in May. Tell your friends May, tell your wives May, tell your enemies June. but May it is. And remember, yes, Verizon has missed plenty deadlines for phones (v810 should have been out last year) but just as many release dates were made up by someone at this site. Which should be renamed RUMORMILL.COM. Even almighty Aldacon has been wrong a few times. ask him to confirm my story. If you don't have this phone by June tenth and most likely late May then I swear I'll never post anything again. I have never claimed anything wrong on this site. It's May. Trust me.

every single phone ever sold/avail on verizon, every single ****ing one, was on ebay 2-4 weeks prior to VZN having it at their stores,I guess by a few seeping out prior to sale or lost/stolen or what ever BUT as sure as the sun rises the said phone shows up on ebay, so if its on ebay, you know its only a matter of 2-4 weeks.If its not, then we have a ways to go. Right now none of the phones (9900 710 810 670 7000 etc)are there so.......regardless of who says what and claims dis or dat. And dats da gospel boys.

Which one should we wait for....9900, v710 or the vx7000?

Somebody please tell me that the delays are because Verizon Wireless really and truly is trying to keep their network as reliable as it is, and their history of equipment delays actually is part of the reason things work so well.

Here I sit, with a dying Kyocera 3035 that's been in service for over 2 1/2 years. In just two days, I was seeing light at the end of the tunnel. I want more than what I have now, which is a tri-mode phone (analog is important) with a decent speakerphone.

The main problem with the release of the v710 is as follows...
Actually let me give you some back story. Motorola and Verizon were, buisness-wise the best of bed fellows. But when motorola repeatly lapsed in the delivery of the v810 verizon had some black eyes from taking flack for motorola's mess up. So from my understanding, both the v810 and v710 were put on hold in the purchasing from moto by verizon. And all the money that moto would have already made from these phones is punishment for the mess up. they are insisting on buying these phones for less. When they were suppose to come out verizon would have paid 80 bucks a piece but now there gunna be 60 each. and that price will drop over time. audio vox got a brake because everyone on th...

Ive worked for Verizon Wireless for a few years now and I find it so funny how people post release dates on all these different phones when they really havent a clue. Truth is, anyone working out of a retail store has no idea when a new phone is coming out. About a few weeks before a release date, we usually get in a "dummy" phone with info. about what the phone can do along with a CD-ROM. I can personally tell you, that as of today, 4/13/2004, Ive heard no release dates of neither the Audiovox 9900, LG VX 4600, LG VX 7000, LG VX 8000, or the Motorola V710. We havent even been briefed on the video clip features either. Generally when something new comes out such as (Pix Messaging, Push to talk, etc.) we are required to take some trainin...

so i talked to someone today at verizon and i told him what i was looking for and stuff in a phone, and he said according to his "list" there is not a new camera phone coming out anytime soon...so all the posts about this phone coming out, the v710, the vx7000, or any other new camera phones coming out soon are crap...i feel everybody out there, my phone is dying and i'm up for my $100 trade in, but nothing out there is grabbing me...i just hope that my phone survives long enough for one of these damn release dates... 😕

I'm sorry to inform you all but the 9900 is not going to be available till AT LEAST early may. The April date has been missed, LA and NEW YORK will get it faster by about a week. The general rule of thumb is, when you think it's coming, give it two more weeks. Yes, it hurts doesn't it?

I didnt talk to anyone yet about the release date. Once this Easter weekend passes I will make a few calls and see if I can get any of my own confirmations on release dates. Otherwise I hope the 15th is accurate. Aldcon by the way is it also true that the vx7000 is being released the same day. Seems unlikely knowing Verizon, but than again they are in backlog, it wouldnt surprise me.
