people that work at verizon typically get their new stuff in on a Friday. so on Friday night or Saturday morning. In late may or early June you'll see a dozen employees write something like "It's in, it's in" . other than that this forum is pretty worthless. so come back in a month and check it all the time then. cause now is just a waste of time. Also, for the people that have their plans expiring in November or December DON'T BUY THIS PHONE OR THE v710 they'll be something much better by then. Some of you are thinking, "what's better "they take so long to put out phones I'm not waiting for another phone to miss release dates over an over again" my answers to those questions would be I don't know what's coming out next and verizon won't ...

I'm on a two-year contract with verizon..is it true that I am able to get a new phone after one year?..or do i have to wait the full 2 yrs?..thanx

i am waiting for this phone and the v710... i will probably be waiting a while....

i ahve a kyocera 3035.. and the batter is busted and doesnt like to stay in.... does anyone have or is anyone able to get a phone for me fairly cheap so i dont have to use my ne2 and 2 year contract money to get a new phone while i wait for these 2 phones.

i was thinking about getting a moto v60s... how much can you guys get one for?

Dont mean to post twice but heres a quicky question. I am going on a trip out of the country pretty soon and would like to have a tri-mode fone. I had the a610-little big,no frnt lcd, and DUAL mode. So I have been so patiently waiting for the 9900, and waiting and waiting...I have come to the realization that this fone is not going to be released within the next 3 or 4 weeks so instead I'll just get a tri-mode for the trip and this will hold me over until the 9900 comes out. I wound up getting the audiovox 8600. First impressions: small fone/small display, seems fragile, antenna sits between slot in battery on inside, and the most annoying is the 5 second verizon banner that flashes on frnt lcd every 5 sec. doesn't seem likely from this response i got from audiovox. just passing it on. i have no personal knowledge about it.

So I happened to bump into a friend of mine today in the middle of the VZW totem pole. This friend is only a sales rep, but he doesn't give me answers just to shut me up, he tells it as it is, as will I. I asked about the 9900 he said he just went a few days ago to training with a rep from Audiovox. The rep refused to give a definite date, but did say about a month or two. This doesn't help much, but at least it supports the June 1st date. I didn't speak to him long but he did say that the next best fone to hit VZW will ultimately be the V710. He said it too has no definite release, but that August is a possibility. I know this is all very vague, but it is as much as I could get this time. I may be seeing another friend this week, le...

Is this phone actually going to have picture id like in the v710 picture? I know it says it will have it on the info page, but anytime someone mentions features about this phone they never mention picture id. I personally think this is an awesome feature, and would make this phone that much cooler.

This phone should be released beginning of may. Price will be about $250-300 with 2-year agreement and maybe a $50 mail-in-rebate.

Why do you bother to post a message like that saying that you "think" it will be may and "might" have a $50 rebate? If you have something concrete, then post it.. otherwise dont post stuff that you are just guessing or hoping about

My bad your right, the 9900 is tri-mode. I posted it wasnt in error, my apoligies. So I guess the 9900 is the best out of the a670/a650 and the 9900. It has everything wanted, needed and "as up to date as VZW can be". Aldcon if you can help us at all once you play with it it would be greatly appreciated.

1- how soon is very soon? a day, a week?

2- My guy at radioshack swears that they will have the v710 within 2 weeks.

Anyone Know, Info sheet is non-descript?

Since all three wont be out until 2nd quarter of the year 2027 🤣 what do you think:
The a650 V's a670 V's 9900.
-The a650 will be high speed, but has no front display, and will be a tri-mode fone.
-The a670 will be a sleek camera fone for samsung with 15 sec video clip.
-And I am leaning towards it, the 9900 has the camera/vid clip, and speakerphone. But its a little larger than others and no tri-mode.
Any opinions?
