Audiovox CDM-9900
looking at a new phone
hey everyone,
i am waiting for this phone and the v710... i will probably be waiting a while....
i ahve a kyocera 3035.. and the batter is busted and doesnt like to stay in.... does anyone have or is anyone able to get a phone for me fairly cheap so i dont have to use my ne2 and 2 year contract money to get a new phone while i wait for these 2 phones.
i was thinking about getting a moto v60s... how much can you guys get one for?

v60s is a solid fone with no perks. The metal exterior makes it strong plus you can change the covers... but I wouldn't go buying anything unless you MUST. The V810 should be out next (eventually), than probably the 9900 and the list of new fones just keep going from there. This summer VZW will have a different look, that is if any of the fones ever come out. I spoke to a manager friend today. I found out that the Audiovox 8900 are being taken off the shelf this week and some stores already have them in quarantine. The t720's/730's are gone already. The V60's will be going soon. This is a Manhattan store- He does not have any 9900 demos yet or v810, although he did say that the v810 was supposed to be the next release. It's not much...

The answer is in one word: EBay. I've sold and bought mobile phones this way. Works well and fills the interim need.

i have looked on ebay... the prices are fairly high... I can't seem to find any under $50 (for the v60s)

Well, if you're just trying to get something cheap just to get by until your dream phone comes along, who cares if its a V60 or a Nokia 3285? 😎
