regarding the cdm-9900's release date
I'm sorry to inform you all but the 9900 is not going to be available till AT LEAST early may. The April date has been missed, LA and NEW YORK will get it faster by about a week. The general rule of thumb is, when you think it's coming, give it two more weeks. Yes, it hurts doesn't it?

I cannot verify the April 15th date. However, I do know that NY and LA do not release phones weeks before the rest of the country; Verizon has a 'national release date' policy.

My rep just informed me that the shippment that was scheduled to come in tomorrow, the 13th, was cancelled until further notice. Now I guess its another guessing game. I project early May. This is just a guess, but the latest they release a phone the 15th of a month. They usually do not release after that. I do not know why, but its just what i noticed.

ON the lg7000 page they were saying that they were going to come out on the same day right. so because this phone was held back is the 7000 still coming on the 15th ?

The 7000 was never coming out on the 15th. It was a rumor that I quashed. They are still mass producing the model, and the stores do not have the demo yet.

I know about the release date because I'm best friends with the grandson of the ceo of verizon (hence my gimmicky screename) and by the way I am right about the major metropolitan cities getting it first. and I want this phone but I can't get it directly cause I'm just his friend but I'm privy to somewhat "classified" info.
