Let me get this straight,,, the CDM9900 and the vx7000 bothe coming out on same day,,, I think not.

The stores have the 9900 in stock, the demo, but as for the VX7000. It is out of testing, but it is in mass production stages now. So i think if anything, the 9900 only will be out the 15th. If we are so lucky

I have a really old LG phone with a broken hinge. I really need a new phone. If the Audiovox 9900 is really going to be out the 15th, should I get that or should I wait for the Motorola V710, my first choice? Does anyone have any idea when the V710 is really going to come out?

The V710 will be out rather soon, but it depends what you need the phone for. If you want to spend the money for the phone, go with the V710. It will run you in the $350-$500 range, as per it being VZW's first bluetooth phone. But I'd say go with the 9900, and wait until the V710 is released until you get the 9900 because then the price will decrease dramatically. Just my opinion.
