pebl bluetooth problems
by libit    Oct 8, 2006, 12:40 PM
in the Motorola forum

Hi, I've a new PEBL (UK, unlocked) and it works great however bluetooth seems to have issues. I have two cars (toyota and honda) with the respective original bluetooth kits. With the honda, the PEBL can successfully pair, but then if you exit the car and get in again, the connection cannot be reestablished and you have to do the manual pairing again (ofcourse the phone is configured with bluetooth ALWAYS on and automatic connection). With the toyota, the pabl cannot pair at all. Note that both cars works all0right with other phones. Any ideas on how to fix the PEBL (looks like software issue to me)?

Re: Message to CEO...exactly why I dont have verizon!
by schlittertex    Oct 12, 2006, 7:27 AM

Why is it that the only people that defend Verizon are people that work for them. THAT IS THE ONLY REASON I GET A NEW PHONE, because it was nothing like the last one. I don't mind learning a new phone, and I doubt others really do either. Why in the world would I want to get a phone with the same menu options as the phone before, especially when they are lame and slow? NOTE TO SALESMEN, WE REALLY DON'T CARE TO HEAR YOUR BIAS.

Re: How to get out of ETF
by LordObento    Oct 13, 2006, 11:26 AM

There is several ways to get out of an ETF Military Deployed out of country for more then 6 months, just fax in your orders. Moved out of the VZW coverage area, just fax in a copy of utility bill/Drivers licence with your name and new mailing address. Poor coverage, trouble shoot with Tech over a period of time until a Network Tech comes by and checks your area to see if you have poor coverage Terminal Illness, fax in doctor's note or Death.... just kill yourself and you get your ETF waive, way worth it if you got 4 lines
