It's not just aim though. It also has MSN, Yahoo, ICQ, Jabber, GoogleTalk and Skype.
You don't have to use the pc program if you don't use skype.

😡 Yes Cingular does charge for AIM IM and they don't tell anyone up front. I have the $59.99 a month unlimited data package, and just tried the built in AIM client, and text messages showed up on my bill. It's rediculous. I can understand true SMS messages being charged, but AIM messages is not right.
The other thing they didn't tell me when I bought a 3G phone (LG CU500) is that Cingular video is NOT included in the unlimited data package. Cingular is so money grabbing, I won't even buy a ring tone off of them. Like the first menu option is "Cingular Mall"? Give me a break Cingular. The only reason I have Cingular is because they provide a good signal at my home and SPRINT doesn't.

I really like the phone its have a super great camera I think no other phone compare to w810 camera . and its not a 3G phone but I have MobiTV and works great.The edge is super fast I can browse web in my phone like in the pc it take 1 seconds or less to load a website page. the only thing that I planing to change to star trek 3125 is windows mobile. I never use windows mobile so I don't know if its a good idea.. in my concern w810 do all the function of a smart phone. help me decide if keep my w810 or change to star trek.. the only bad for my w810 it is that is cingular branded and that sucks a lot.. wh...
