Returns

Why is it the customers that you bend over backwards for and give them awesome deals always return?

I haven't had an activation returned in 4 months and today i get 3. All of the for stupid reasons. One lady admited that she couldnt' find a better deal anywhere else but her brother told her to return them and pay more per month with another carrier. Man people are so immature and don't think things through it drives me nuts!

Stupid, stupid business customers

I'm sure everyone has had this call at some time. I get them all the time.

Customer states, "I'm losing (insert insane money amount here) every day that I don't have my phone."

I have come to the conclusion that there are only two possible explanations for this.

1. The customers success is in way due to his/her business saavy. One of their partners or employees or just dumb luck is the entire reason for their success, because if that weren't the case these f**king retards would have bought a Godd*mn backup motherf**king phone to use in such an occasion while they wait for their phone.

2. They're f**king lying.

And if it is that big of deal where you were too stupid to get a back-up phone and you "can't afford" to wait, go ...

Entertain me with your tales of woe

C'mon guys, I haven't heard any real side-splitting customer stories in a while (which is partially my fault since I haven't been on the website in 2 days).

I've reached this point.

It's rather liberating, I've gotten to the point where I simply Do Not Care. Oh you don't have a credit card, fine, visit a store... have horrid credit. Not my problem.

It's a nice side effect of knowing that no matter what I'll not be here (in this department anyways) after the 25th.

No More Crap.

No more "How many sales do you have."

No more guessing how much my paycheck is going to be.

9 more (at most) shifts like this

11 days.

Has anybody heard of Star PCS?

OK, in my continuing quest to make more money, I found this company called Star PCS Inc., that sells accessories at wholesale; they've got pretty good prices on Bluetooth headsets, and since I get paid on accessories based on the profit we make, lower wholesale=more money for me. I'm looking into it before I bring it to my boss(hoping to make a damn good impression for when my review comes up soon so I can ask for a raise in salary, too), but has anybody heard or dealt with them before? Any horror stories, praise? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Horrific Discovery

OK! So I've come to the horrific discovery that I am BOB - the typical Cingular customer.

Let me explain - I work in a call center taking Cingular Business Care calls. All I hear all day is sh!t like, "I'm important! Give me the (insert product here) for FREE! Waive my (insert fee)!" It must have rubbed off on me because that is the same stuff I was saying when I called Business Care 5 times this weekend to get my account straightened out. "Waive my upgrade fee! Why are you so useless? COURTESY CREDIT! COURTESY CREDIT! COURTESY CREDIT!"

Please don't hate me! I hate myself enough already... ๐Ÿ˜ข

Birds and Kiddies

OK so all day long we have had customers messing wit a baby bird outside of our store. I saw it lying on it's back outside our door so I went out to move it cause i didn't want to have to look at a dead bird all day long ๐Ÿ˜ข, well when i went out there the poor thing was still alive but because all those damn people had been messing with it it now has a broken wing! DAMN PEOPLE! ๐Ÿ‘ฟ

And people, if you can't control the 5 kiddies then please, please, PLEASE don't bring them into my store! They have a tendency to break things or cause havoc! I have nothing against kids I really don't, but in the work place!

New Names

Apparently, people think there's a new cell phone company called Julio. The customer asks if I have seen Julio. I thought he meant he was looking for someone and asked if I had seen them. I say I don't know Julio. Customer asks if I have Julio's phone, again, I don't know Julio. He then starts talking about the myspace phone and I figured out that he meant Helio. I also had a request for the kickback phone. !Everyone get your kickback phone exclusively on Julio mobile! ๐Ÿ™‚

Thank you! I couldn't have said it better.

I found this comment at MSNBC.com after reading a thread in the Cingular forum. This person said it all!!! I love it ๐Ÿ˜

People buy cell phones with false expectations. The things I have heard come out of people's mouths are unreal. A cell phone is a cell phone. Nothing is 100%. Nothing is perfection. Weather and peak usage times CAN affect your service. Dropping your phone CAN affect your service. No, you might not get EVERY call that is placed to your cell phone. Yes, you MAY drop a call. Yes, you MAY get a defective phone. Yes you have agreed ...

Whats the point in having a cell phone???

Im so tired of ignorant customers its not even funny!! I just had a lady come in my store and wanted to look up her bill. So I ask her for her cell phone number so i can look up her account...and she says

Cust: "I dont know it. Just look it up by my name"

me: "Im sorry but I would have to have either your cell phone number or your account number"

Cust: "This is ridiculous, Im so tired of Cingular" and blah blah blah...

Me: "Can I see your phone and maybe I can find the number in there"

Cust: "I dont have it with me, I didnt think I would need it, all I want to do is see my bill. Nevermind you(cingular)always have to make everything a big deal blah blah blah... and she leaves

We dont make things hard on customers. I guess ...

My own personal bad customer service experience

This is how my conversation with a Sprint rep went. I'll spare the details but basically one cust was getting calls on her phone for another cust's #, and God only knows what # they were receiving calls for. So I needed to call tech support to find out what needed to be done to get the cust's phone reprogrammed and then I had to get the replacement on this other person's number transferred over to her account. Here is my conversation with customer care.

Me: I need to get a customers phone reprogrammed, can you get me to tech support?

Them: Ummm... well let me see... no it doesn't appear to be something I'm capable of doing.

Me: So then can I please get to tech support.

Them: Uh, well let me ask my supervisor what we should do...

Ode to 2 sprint customers...

*sighs* oh i love call centers....

call 1: customer calls in wanting to go over her bill. So we go over her charges and find out that she keeps going over her minutes.

Then like out of left field...

Me: ๐Ÿ˜ So mam I would suggest that we would change ur plan to 1000 minutes and that would save you money on overage every month!

Lady: ๐Ÿ˜ฒ Are you trying to say I'm fat?

Me: ๐Ÿคจ Um....no mam. Why would I say you were fat?

Lady: ๐Ÿ˜ก Cause you said I need MORE minutes. MORE F*ck*n minutes!!! Who in the hell do u think u are? I am NOT a big woman!!!

Customer hangs up.

call 2: (alittle background history. My ethic background is hispanic but I have a hebrew name)

Me: Thank you for calling sprint together with ne...

I hate lying customers

I had a sup call yesterday where I woman said one of our reps told her we would waive her insurance deductible, and also that she made a 3 way call to a Sprint rep with our agent on the line.

She said our rep told the Sprint store rep to give her a new phone and just file her lost phone as a warranty issue (that would be insurance fraud) and to do the exchange and that the rep refused because he couldn't do that without receiving a phone in return (hence the term exchange). The story was so complex that I thought it must have happened.

Today I pull every single call that we received from this woman. Everyone she spoke with here told her in no uncertain terms that we would NOT waive the deductible, and no one said anything about fi...
