scared customers?

are some customers afraid that we might actually do our jobs and sell them something? i work in a VERY small store in a strip mall. it's a nice day out so i have the door open which is just about within arms-reach of my desk. i had a customer come up to the door and start reading my store hours. no hello, no glance, nothing. it seemed like she was forcing herself to not make eye-contact with the big bad salesman. eh, maybe i'm reading too much into it. or maybe she would've felt more comfortable with her big butch lesbian girlfriend here with her. i say this because she herself was big and butch. and definitely looked like a lesbian. ok. this is seemingly going nowhere, so uh...bye for now

why why why

why when someone calls your store and you go through your little sch-peal telling them who you are and where they have called do they then proceed to yell into the phone "ELLO" "ELLO" is this blah blah blah. you looked the number up in the phonebook didnt you? You had to have know who you were calling before you dialed the number right? Did you pickup the phone with no intention of paying any attention to what was going on??? come on people

My turn to be the dumb person I guess.

😢
I gave her a pre-paid phone instead of a contract phone (it's just the Milan that is stupid that way)
So I figured that out by luck, and gave her a contract phone.
Then the contract phone didn't charge, as in the charger would not fit into it.
Sooo I gave her a whole new one.
Or, I will when she comes back. She had to pick up her kid from school.
AND after all that I realized I never programmed the phone, so it won't work for her at all.
I need a day off. 🤭

My blood is still boiling...

About 4 hours ago, custy comes in and says he wants a free phone. I look at his account. No lines are eligible. He's mad as hell. He says VZW never gave him a free phone when he started his service and he wants one now. I asked how much he paid for his phone when he signed up for service and he told me around $30.00. I explained that he still got a promotional price and that the phone he paid $30.00 for and ran over with the lawn mover cost us way more than $30.00. He now says that 2 of my agent locations and someone from corporate told him he could have a free phone. I call CS and the only note on the account is that he can get 25% off full retail. I come back to the jerk and tell him his options. He starts in on how I don't care ...

I mouthed off to a Starbucks customer today...

So I was in line at my local Starbucks (and of course I know all the employees, I used to be a starbucks employee myself, so I am close with them.)

Anyways, I digress:

Customer to the cashier: Excuse me, why did he get his drink before me when I was first in line? Shouldn't I get a free coupon or something?!

Me to Customer: Shouldn't you be in your tree making cookies?!

The cashier tried hard not to laugh...

Prepaid Customers Scamming (Sorry it is long)

I work in an inbound call center. On Friday and Saturday I had a couple customers that thought they could scam Cingy (unsuccessfully).

The first guy said that he had just gotten back from overseas after being deployed and was told he could get his balance of $32 or at least half of it because his balance had expired. I was the second person he had spoken to about this. The first rep just noted that he called for a credit, but found no notes to support credit. The customer stated that the previous rep had noted that the account should be credited. I told him I could not as there was no notes about the credit. He argued with me that there was a note saying he was to get the credit. Finally, when he realized that I was not going to credit h...

So apparently this lady is going to sue us.

We have a year warrenty on all of our accessories.
So if your charger stops charging, as long as you have your receipt, we'll replace it.
So, this is how it went down.
Me: Go wireless, how can I help you?
Lady: I got my charger three months ago and it just stopped working
Me: well, they have a year warr-
Lady: (she interrupted me) we went and bought a new one today from a place I know backs up their stuff and we want our money back on the one you sold us.
Me: well I'm sorry ma'am, we can't do returns on accessories,. But if you still have the reciept, we will be happy to exchange it for you.
Lady: We don't need another charger, we want our money back. (this is where she starts yelling at me) you know Go wireless is going to hav...

VZW CS Rep, you suck!

I hope she reads this too........

I posted this in VZW, but I had to rant, and get feedback from all of you!

I wish I knew her name and ID, but she REFUSED to give it to me.

I'm an indirect agent. We are NOT owned by Verizon, we have account managers we report to and get our instruction on how to properly assist our customers. We have been told REPEATEDLY to NOT call the Customer Service 800-922-0204 number. That line is to be left for Customer problems only. We are to only call the activations support line, and if they are unable to assist, they are to transfer us from there. We have been told by our Account Managers that we are to follow in code the "Agent when to Call Document", and that document, shows no other number than...

Perfume-induced coma

People need to not wear so freaking much perfume or cologne. I just had to sell two prepaid cards to a girl with enough make up and shiny stuff on her face to blind me. She had so much perfume on that I literally have a headache right now because of it. Why do people do this?

prepaid minute freak out

So i just tried to sell prepaid minutes to a lady and she feaked out that her $50 card was going to cost $53 dollars after tax. She accused me of trying to skim products. (by pocketing $3 of your prepaid card?)
She claims to have never paid over $50 for a $50 pre paid card! I guess im lucky the goverment did away with the 3% Federal Excise Tax on prepaid airtime huh. I probably would have gotten shot as it was I thought she was gonna stab me with her pen!
