On the LG CU500 is there a zoom anywhere on this phone? I can't seem to find it. It would make since that there would be considering it's 1.3 and even the most basic VGA has one. Let me know. Myself and a customer are both curious.

Had a situation with a girl having problems with her phone. She brought it in to me, and I got it working for her at the time, and told her that if she had any more problems to let me know. She got outside to her car and it quit working again. When she was on her way back in, she dropped her phone on the sidewalk in a torrential downpour, and it got the water mark 1/4 wet. Now he wants us to commit fraud and add insurance even though the phone is already wet.
*sigh*
I know he's gonna call in and try to add insurance. I have to note his account that the phone is water damaged though. I guess he'll be back tomorrow b*tching about how we screwed him over by noting the account. I don't see how people can take fraud so lightly.

C - "What about Sprint, can you do it with Sprint?"
M - "No"
C - "Well, since you can't do it, can they do it for me?"
M - "They can set up a line with their service provider. Cingular can only set up Cingular, and same with Sprint, VZW, etc..."
C - "So if I go to them they can set me up on a Verizon phone and have it put on a Cingular share Plan?"
M - "No, would you like for me to set up service for you today?"
C - "No thanks, I'll just go have Sprint set me up"
I give up on these people. I don't understnad how people can literally be stupid. I thought I'd saw/heard it all before....

Not the a$$holes that come in pissed off at me for their incompetence.
Not the coworkers that i sacrificed time off for, just for them to stab me in the back later.
Not the pathetic traning seminars that do little more than waste my gas money and time to drive out and listen to someone tell me somthing that i already knew.
Not the overtime/commissions that i was never compensated for, eventhough i did the work to make the company slightly richer.
Not the bullsh!t chargebacks for dilenquent activities that i took no part in, yet was punished for simply because they coulnd't "prove i DIDN'T do it..."

I just had a customer upset because she broke her phone and didn't want to pay retail. I couldn't offer her a refund for three reasons:
1. She's not an authorized user on the company account
2. Her company has a past due balance of $4000
3. She had an upgrade four months ago
I just spent an hour talking to her, customer service, and to her business manager or whoever. They kept trying to make deals with me--"What if we cut a check for the past due amount right now and fax a copy to you?" No, I'm sorry, says I, but the payment has to be posted before she can upgrade. Plus she's not authorized, plus she's not eligible.
If your company is so huge that you pay four grand a month for your cell phone ...

I don't care what you want to do
Like today, this lady had a defective phone that is dropping calls and not getting signal in places that her husband's phone (on the same plan) does get signal.
The husband was intelligent enough to bring his phone in and exchange it within the 30 day return policy so his works fine now. They got their phones on 7-20, so it's past the 30 days though so I can't take her phone back.
I explained that she simply needs to call customer service and they'll send her a new...

How in the world do you not know who your provider is!?
Just had a guy come up.
He thought he had service with us, wanted to know how much of a notice he had to give to switch plans, I told him none. Then he told me he was on a WI and UP plan, and I know we don't have service in the UP.
So I asked if I could look up his account, he gave me the info and I tried, didn't come up. And I'm like you're SURE you have us? And he was posotive!
I tried looking him up again to no avail.
Turns out he has Cellcom. ๐
Didn't make me mad, just made me laugh. ๐คฃ

Ten minutes later I get a call from a lady that went like this:
Her: My husband just came in there and paid his bill and said you guys couldn't give him a receipt.
Me: We always give receipts with payments. I don't recall processing a payment recently though. When did he come in?
Her: Like ten minutes ago.
Me: Yeah, I've been here for the past hour and no one has paid a bill here.
Her: He didn't just come in there?
Me: Well, there was a guy that wanted to pay part of his bill in cash but we told him we couldn't t...

Pre-Paid Customers
"Why does your pre-pay plan HAVE to have that $.99 daily access fee. Why? I don't understand it, why?!"
Me to customer -
"Same reason gas is so expensive. Because some guy sittin in an office somewhere just thought it would be a 'ducky' idea!"
She didn't care about the value of the service, she just wanted to know WHY we charged that. She didn't think she should have to pay a daily access fee, because the cost of the cards were enough.
Finally she just said "is there an option that doesn't charge me a daily fee?"
I said "TracFone, but don't bring it to me to activate."
