WTF!??! First day vs. last day
Yesterday, being last day of month.. we needed like 1200 to hit goal for accesories
(we NEVER sell that much, usually 3-500 a day), and only 2 phones to hit activations.
We got like 4 phones and 500 in accesories
Why did we get 23 acts and 1500 in accesories today?!
I hate the first of the month.

Rant..
With the company I work for we get our monthly bonus off of the amount of gross profit you bring in for the month. If you are in the top 20 salesmen you get 12%. I have worked my a$$ off all month and been consistently around number 12-15 all month dropping a few on my day off. Going into today I was number 17 and would was confident that I could get enough sales to finish in the top 20. Out of no where I get passed up by 7 people. It seems a little shady so I do some investigating. I go and look at the sales for these people. SLOW DAY
What do you guys do to try to boost business when its slow? 😕
Stupid people on the phone....
He immediately started sighing heavily and comlpaining, saying it makes no sense that he could call a Cingular store and they wouldn't have the number for their other store across town.
I explained to him that we're owned by a different company and are not affiliated, at which point he said "Well, can't you just get into the Cingular system and get the number?" Because obviously there is such a thing. We can just go into this fancy database and find the phone number for ever...

Customer walks in.. I need to activate this phone I got from insurance and transfer the numbers. "Sure," I say. And I grab the new phone and put it together and she talks about how the loaner sucks and bla bla bla.. She says how she got it at another store. I ask where and ends up being a retail store. Now mind you that this lady is probably in her 70's. So I explain that I can't activate her new phone b/c retail stores put a lock on changing out the loaner.
