why

What is it about paying a mear 6 dollars a month for insuance seems to be the greatest expense in the world. and why should we have to give someone a new phone just because they drove all the way across town when they have it

Okay, where is everybody? Dealing with customers that couldn't have the decency to come in yesterday so that we could have all made our numbers? (I made mine, btw) Nobody seems to be chatting much today.

WTF!??! First day vs. last day

JESUS H PEOPLE COME ON!!!

Yesterday, being last day of month.. we needed like 1200 to hit goal for accesories
(we NEVER sell that much, usually 3-500 a day), and only 2 phones to hit activations.

We got like 4 phones and 500 in accesories

Why did we get 23 acts and 1500 in accesories today?!
I hate the first of the month.

Sprint Corporate

Is it true that sprint is working on making all of their stores corporate stores. I work at a sprint 3rd party store now and was told this by my district manager. I just wanted to know if anybody knew if this was true.

I wish tihs happened everyday

so the business man walks in (you know the one that always wears the cheap shirt with the mismatching tie and demands everything NOW and free of course)well his blackberry has a cracked screen.No problem sir but we do not carry that model so we will not be able to replace it at this location. his response was that's not my problem.am thinking neither is mine asshole its your phone that is broken not mine,besides if I do not have it what do you want me to do pull it out of my... anyways back to the story ,so as usual I had to repeat my self ,well sir we do not carry that model but down the street there is a repair center that can replace it for you no problem(you can see this place from our parking lot)His response is well give me the full ad...

what irritates you....(kinda long)

i just had a customer come in yapping on his phone of course walks up to my till looks at me and starts running off at the lips with his out of area phone number....i looked at him and gave him my usual comment...ummm would you like to pay your bill? he gives ME the look as if i was the one being rude.....and says ahh yeah.. i said okay well my till doesnt have a cash drawer so ill take care of ya at this one over here..he looks at me and rolls his eyes and walks over to join me...of course to mu delight i have to make him repeat his phone number...so he repeats it...like im the stupid one...7....7....3....blah blah blah...anyway he asked me what his current balance due was... told him he stoped his weird conversation with some girl about he...

Why the customers you do favors for always act a fool? Long

A lady came in 15 minutes ago asking if I could switch ESNs for her. She purchased the defective phone from us, had insurance, and got a new phone. I said sure, why not. She commented on how fast I did it and how I saved her the time she wouldn't have to spend at Corporate. I noticed that the new phone didn't have a battery, or a backing, I let her know, activated it and sent her on her way. She came back later and asked if her contracts where in her new phone. I explained to her that I didn't have any equipment to transfer her numbers and that she would have to enter them manually or go to a Corporate store. That's when the poop hit the fan. She's screaming that she's in the mist of a terrible divorce, etc, etc. Went to management (I'm in ...

I currently work at a dealer store in a local mall, I am wondering where call centers are and how to get in with them. I have worked at a call center in California for Countrywide...

Rant..

So I can't tell you how frustrated I am with co-workers and lax company policy.

With the company I work for we get our monthly bonus off of the amount of gross profit you bring in for the month. If you are in the top 20 salesmen you get 12%. I have worked my a$$ off all month and been consistently around number 12-15 all month dropping a few on my day off. Going into today I was number 17 and would was confident that I could get enough sales to finish in the top 20. Out of no where I get passed up by 7 people. It seems a little shady so I do some investigating. I go and look at the sales for these people. They were going in to old customers accounts and changing their text/internet packages to the new ones that just came out and ringing t...

Stupid people on the phone....

I had a guy call up asking for the number for the Cingular store across town (the evil corporate store). I told him we didn't have the number, which we don't. He told me they aren't in the phone book so I told him I know and that's why we don't have the number.

He immediately started sighing heavily and comlpaining, saying it makes no sense that he could call a Cingular store and they wouldn't have the number for their other store across town.

I explained to him that we're owned by a different company and are not affiliated, at which point he said "Well, can't you just get into the Cingular system and get the number?" Because obviously there is such a thing. We can just go into this fancy database and find the phone number for ever...

My Favorite Customers

My favorite customers are the ones that are ALWAYS RIGHT... sigh
Customer walks in.. I need to activate this phone I got from insurance and transfer the numbers. "Sure," I say. And I grab the new phone and put it together and she talks about how the loaner sucks and bla bla bla.. She says how she got it at another store. I ask where and ends up being a retail store. Now mind you that this lady is probably in her 70's. So I explain that I can't activate her new phone b/c retail stores put a lock on changing out the loaner. USEFUL TO SAVE HEADACHES!

I thought that everyone could make use of this form that I put together. I have alot of problems with customers wanting to return the phone outside of the return period for the carrier. So here goes

Return Policy

In order to return your product. You must meet all of the following conditions:

Your date of return is less than 15 days from the date of purchase.
You have used less than 60 total minutes on the equipment.(this includes night and weekend minutes, as well as mobile to mobile)
You must have the original retail packing, in resaleable condition (box, chargers, clips, tray, tray inserts, owners manual, plastic tray cover, etc.)
In the event any pieces are missing, or damage...
