I can see what kind of day this is going to be - Part 1

This is really long so I'm separating this post into two, one for each stupid customer.

Customer number 1 - bitter old anti-technology lady:

She comes up with two Sony Ericsson z300 prepaid phones and has eight million problems with them. They're horrible phones and are completely stupid because they aren't her old AT&T phone. In reality she couldn't figure out how to turn up the ring volume, so we did that for her.

The next problem is that she was complaining about how stupid all the icons on her front screen were (you know, the ones that tell you you've missed calls and have a voice mail). I tell her she has two voice mails and she says "Well, take them off of there". I explain nicely that she simply has to call her voice mail...

Man, I love getting yelled at

Guy came in yesterday and wanted to upgrade the phones but it was under the wifes name. I informed him that I could not do that because it was illegal for me to let him sign and he said ok and he would be back. He comes back like 2 hours later with her SSN. Uh, wtf is that going to do? I could care less if you have her birth certificate I'm still not letting you sign for her. SO he started yelling at me saying how he hated sprint, he had been a customer for 6 years and never been treated like this and I just sat and smiled and say uh huh uh huh right right and then he said ya know what screw it I am going to cingular and I said alright sir well don't forget to pay the ETF for each phone on your account and it looks like thats gonna be 1...

Sorry this is long, I just need to rant...........

I have this customer (don't we all?)

7/21/06:
She comes to me first because she seems to think her phone is broke and not working correctly. We offered her the choice of either ordering a FRU Replacement (would have taken 2 days to get replacement), going to the nearest corporate store (30 miles away) or me sending her phone to LG for repair (which can take 6-8 weeks). She decides to have me send it to LG because for whatever reason the other 2 options are inconvenient. So, we give her a loaner phone to use in the meantime.

1 Week later: Customer comes in asking when her phone will be back.

The week of 8/1:
Customer calls my store to inform us that she had gotten "Jumped" and when the guy pushed her down it broke the faceplate ...

Man, the nuts are out today!

Okay, considering what happened to my tooth with a nut, maybe I should have rephrased.

Customer comes in asking how many times she can make a claim with Signal insurance. I told her that it used to be two claims in two years, but I know people who have done more.
She says, well, I was riding my jetski this weekend, and I don't know how, but my phone got wet, and I need to make my 3rd claim of the summer.

Since when is it appropriate to take your cell on a jetski? And how can you say the sentence, I don't know how it got wet, when you did?

I'm so confused.

Are They All Crazy?

I had a customer in store the other day. His girlfriend (or whatever she was) was looking at setting up service. As they're looking at the razrs, he points to the sign we have up stating that the phone also comes in pink. He looks at the woman with him as says "I'd get one of those phones in pink." She looked at him for a second before replying "No you wouldn't". He said "Yes, I would. I'm very comfortable with my sexuality. I wouldn't have a problem with it." My coworker and I about lost it. Then he walks around some more before telling her "This one is one of those Norelco phones. They're pretty good." He was pointing to the Nokia. I was biting my lips trying not to laugh out loud and my coworker had to put her head down. I th...

It's just a loaner!

Customer comes in the store just now, and plops her phone on the counter. It's broke. We look her up in the system and find out that her phone was a loaner that we loaned her. She broke it. I told her that would cost her $25 and she went crazy, saying that it was just a loaner phone and shouldn't cost her anything and that we should give her a better phone that wouldn't break so easy. ๐Ÿ˜ณ I don't think so......

No wonder they are getting a divorce!

๐Ÿ˜ฒ
This lady just came in, and told me she was looking for phones and plans and stuff because she and her husband were getting a divorce.
She was a really sweet nice woman. Easy to help, etc etc.
Then her hubby comes in.
Oh lord, he was a jerk.
Kept raising his voice at me (I didn't take it this time, by the way. ๐Ÿ™‚ talked back to him in the same stern way he talkd to me)
And yeah, I could not find his info in our system for the life of me. He even went to his business to get his tax ID number and I still couldn't find it.
He got super pissy.
Not my fault dude, sorry.
But yeah, wow, he was a jerk.

Ever have a couple in, and you can't understand why they are still together because they are fighting so much?

Do you work here?

Anybody work in a store in which the customers try to come behind your desk and look at your computer screen when you're looking at their account?

How do you tell them that what's on teh screen is none of their damn business?

MNVOs

How does everyone feel about the current MVNOs in the market and have you seen an impact on your personals sales in your locations? Of the MVNOs out there, which ones do you see surviving as well as taking a dirt nap and why?

Mistery water

I hate when phones have water damage and yet customers claim to never have had it near water. My favorite is when they suggest sweat from their hand may have done it. Really? How sweaty are these peoples palms? I just look at them and tell them i find that highly implausable.

Just bored, humor me.

Okay, so after the first almost 3 weeks of September being the most busy of the year so far, we have had 5 people in the store today, and only 1 of them spent money on cell phones. So I'm bored. Due to the low volume in here lately, either everyone else is extra busy with customers, or is too bored to post!
What's going on?

Customer that just came in...

Customer just came into the store.

She is crying and her face is crazy red ๐Ÿ˜ข . She says that the phone she just purchased does not work and she paid $200 for it. She is yelling at me through the tears. She says she charged it over night and now it does not work. "Don't you know how long I have been a Verizon customer blah blah blah..."
I look at the phone. It is off. I turn it on. Wow funny how a phone works when you turn it on. Customer stops crying and is awe struck. How did you do that she asks. I turned it on I say. She stares at me. Grabs the phone, cusses at me, then walks out.
What is wrong with people!

"I just want something PRETTY!!"

๐Ÿ˜ณ
Why are customers so stupid?!?! First, they want a free phone then they complain that the free phone is "ugly" and want a pretty phone!!

SO I show them a pretty phone and then they complain about the price.

Then they ask which phone has the best reception, so I show them... and they say it's ugly... and they want the "pretty'' PHONE!!!

SO they buy the pretty phone... and come back the next day because they don't get good reception.

But it had a huge scratch in it... so I told them "What happened to your pretty phone? It has a huge scratch and now it's ugly" They dropped it of course... and I could NOT return it HAHAHAHA

"No reason"

Just got to tell a "customer" that I wasn't interested in helping her because she said that she wasn't looking to buy today. It was a great feeling.

I saw "The Network!"

There was a helicopter, trucks, little men in hardhats, and someone holding a sign!

Okay, so maybe it was the crew 2 blocks down building the new Wal-Mart super center. But it could have been them! ๐Ÿคฃ

Note To Customers

I work in an indirect Sprint store I do not have a tech I cannot repair your phone I'm sorry for the inconvenience, but yelling won't bring one hear.

I sell Sprint only not T-mobile, Cingular, Alltel, Verizon, or anyone else I don not know their numbers or plans.

My store hours are clearly posted on the door and just because you can find the store and bang on the door does not mean that those store hours do not apply to you.
