Why is it a pain in the butt just to mark a phone for lost/stolen?

I mean seriously, it used to be just two or three clicks, but now they changed it to universal which is a good idea, but it's a pain in the a$$ to put it on because of that stupid data error I have to figure out each time I do it, or disable each service seperately, and STILL get that data error.

Unless you guys know of an easier way of adding it?

Another one is the discount plan that adds 10+ socs that you have to add that dealer code to each one and change the dates to each one. 👿

For AT&T employees or just others who have to use it...


Am I the only one who seems to find it unbearably monotonous?

I find it interesting how when you do a Uverse, the set up is usually done in 3 to 4 pages max, while with cell phones it's an event of EPIC PROPORTIONS with WELL over 48 pages of MINOR INFO you have to go through. It's great you got that five liner, but god help you if you have to work on your handle time! 👿

At&t Agents..this is for you

ok so i handle calls for LIMEs ( a Caribbean provider ) customer from the BVI, Turks and Cayman. At times i get calls from At&t customers roaming in those islands and are not able to call back to the US on their cells, not check voicemails.

What is the method of dialing for your customers when calls back to the US?

What is the access number for customers to call At&t for assistance ( and dont say 811 or 611 ) ?


What is the access number to check voicemail?

EVO, ending a call....????? help

So on my evo if I am on a call and someone else calls I can easily switch, BUT i cannot end the other call. When i push menu it just gives me the option to end all calls and if i just hold down on the call i want to end, there are no options. has anyone come into this or know how to end a phone call while on another line?


p.s. i also hear the epic does this too....

I was about to activate new service for a customer when I had a gentleman enter the store. I noticed he had a bill, so I asked if he was doing a quick bill pay. He said no. SO...

I'm sorry, sir, you said no when it WAS a bill pay, and you had to wait for me to finish with my new customer. I'm sorry I could not access your business account because you don't have the tax ID, even though you said you've been at this location before which will ALWAYS requires that number to access the account. Thank you for saying I know my stuff when I was showing the customer how to use their phone, but don't insult me immediately after by calling me a loser who sits and plays with phones all day. QA customer who can not verify and tells you they will cancel if you do not help them. - Sorry sir but even to cancel you will need to verify the account. Happy to send it to you though and then you can cancel.

Why on the day we have to have perfect attendance and no break overage, to keep our holiday pay, are the phone and computer clocks different times?

Working the holiday weekend.

so in ordr to get paid for the holiday we are required to (day before, day of, day after) to log in exactly no later than our start time, make sure we are not over our lunch by even 30 seconds, not exceed our break by a second.

If so they will totally take it away. Not beyond reason but the only place I have ever worked that will do all it can to not pay you.
Still waiting for back overtime pay for mandatory overtime from last check. Missing part of 1 day of pay. And they still want us to work overtime because it helps the center.

Rather they close the place as they removed our pay bonus for IR and added metrics to reduce per call pay that no one can explain.
At min wage now. And they just told us we have to work the mandatory...

I think I have VIBRATITIS!

I think I have a new disease that hasn't been diagnosed or documented yet.

I'm calling it: VIBRATITIS.


It's a feeling I get in my leg, when my cell phone is in my pocket, I can feel it vibrating, like I'm getting a phone call or a text message....only when I look on my desk, the cell phone is there and not in my pocket! 😲


Does anyone else get these feelings?
Better check the doctor, yo..

things i hate about acs.

even with the so called pay raise, most make min wage still. and it didnt even compensate for the 240 dollars from the ir bonus they took from us, so how is this a pay raise???

This hell hole forgotten for another day.

The calls were slow, so is ABC pay.

Thank God for food stamps or we would fade away.

No drugs for me (no money to pay)

At least my pet will remember me (unless it got run over while I was away)

Sorry but i must end this call due to dangerous weather

Our call center had to go in the basement right away and I was on a call. SO i explained to the customer that we were in a weather emergency and he started yelling at me saying that he is looking out the window and the weather is fine...umm sir we are in different states. NO you are lying so you dont have to help me. Um no sorry i have to go..
