Just found out.

Another call center that takes the same type of calls as mine closed down. Reason being "****** HAS BEEN SHUT DOWN EXPECT HIGHER CALL VOLUME FROM THEIR QUES"

So my logic is this, "If theres too many calls, why shut down a center if they have too many calls?" This does nothing but make the other centers have even more calls.

/rant and life.

new email resolution

So on top of all the other things we have to do they added the email resolution. So we added that to our tray of things to be done in the 6.5 minute window.

So it turns out this is a usefull little thing at times. Store says that sprint will credit upgrade activation knowing we can not do that. Send the customer email that you did your best and resolved their issue by referring back to store for credit and by the way let sprint know what happened.

tep equipment sucks and on thir replacement let sprint know.

Starting to like this tool a little

what the least customers anyone had in one day?

i think i broke the all time record today, iv only had 5 customers ALL DAY. iv been open since 10am(its 2:35pm right now) 😳

Hows your morning so far?

Woke up after less than 4 hours of sleep with a really bad neck pain. Get to work and am bombarded with stupid customers immeditely.

customer 1, old lady

C: Whats the difference between a tracfone and a go phone?

M: Same concept just different companies

C: Ok, well i have a nokia on Tmobile, if i buy this tracfone can you transfer the minutes?

M: no theyre different companies, you can buy a tmobile phone and have the minutes transferred.

Then she asks if i have any phones cheaper than our $30 phone and leaves when i tell her its our cheapest.

Immediately followed by a guy asking "where are your unlocked phones?" Explained we dont have any, blah blah blah he leaves.

middle age woman with her mom comes in to buy mom ...

Just had my first crying customer

A preteen girl that dropped her phone in the toilet. At first I thought she was just soft spoken, but when I told her there is not much I could do but ask her parents to file an insurance claim a tear rolled out of her eye. She then thanked me and left.

It seriously made my heart hurt.

ACS Threw the eyes of a sales manager pdx site pt 2

Agent Pay – agents hate ABC. Agents don’t get paid a lot, at any call
center. When you don’t get paid much, the majority of your pay goes to
basic necessities. You can’t budget for things like rent, heat, food, and
transportation based on “I might make this much this pay period if my
surveys are good.” You have to budget based on what to KNOW you will be
able to take home. That is minimum wage here. So who works here? Agents
that are okay with getting minimum wage. Agents that don’t WANT to make
more than minimum wage so they don’t lose state benefits! What kind of
performance do you get from agents like these? Poor performance. You get
what you pay for.

Has anyone ever done it?

I used to work for t-mobile customer service and i remember one day i dozed off and slept thru about 4-5 calls.

I was promptly fired a few days later. 🤭 😢

Has anyone talked to this guy? calls up, asks for a gophone for a girlfriend who's complaining, asks if you like milk, asks to tell you a joke....asks if you drink milk straight out of the carton...

toolbox used to call my center all the time, haven't heard from him in forever.

Dear other Customers,

If your handheld phone that has many capabilities of a computer, for some ungodly reason doesn't operate at the speed of thought, take a step back and think, "Hmm, my home pc has difficulities doing umpteen million things at the same time." Or hey, better yet, call tech support everytime it does. Its a damn phone. If it slows down some accept it, and move on with life.

I am a technician. I speak English, and I measure time in valid units. When I ask you, "when was the last time you could _____." and you say "a minute" I am going to take you literally. If you haven't been able to _____ for three weeks, then say three weeks.

Stupid co workers

Late in the evening i recieve this call, im from Minnesota btw:

Me: Sc Wireless, this is mike.

Co: Hi is this the cell phone department?

Me: Yes it is what can i do for you?

Co: Hi this is Julie from your store in illinois, it says you have 5 white blackberry torches in?

Me: Nope.

Co: Hmm it says you have 5

Me: I do not, do you have a sku?

Co: 170 5874

Me: Yup thats for the black version which i have 5 of.

Co: No, the black and white ones have 2 different skus.

Me: I know, That is for the black version and i dont have any of the white ones, our store doesnt carry them.

Co: ok thank you.

Just to be sure, i checked the boxes themselves and that sku is for the black ones. And i still didnt have any white...
