People who frustrate me when verifying their account.

So, alot of times at my job I will ask for the person's name to bring up their account.

It really, REALLY, frustrates me, when some people do this:


Me: Ok, can I have your name, please?
Cust: Yes, it's Joe. Spelled 'J-O-E'
Me: *waiting*...... ๐Ÿคจ ......
Me: And your last name??
Cust: Gastiglionattiosphereospotshipshere.......... .
Me: *waiting, again....* (notice how the cust does NOT spell the last name, the most confusing last name you've probably ever heard)..

Me: Can you spell that please? ๐Ÿคจ ๐Ÿคจ


And then they spell it for you but they're all huffy and puffy about it....

wal mart store rep: Hai, I'm a rep at a wal mart in Glencoe, AL. So.. I got this here customer fixin' to add insurance to his phone.. see, he's got this other phone he wants to add insurance to. Can he do that?

me: What kind of a phone is it?

rep: It's a........ um..

me: How long have they had that previous line?

rep: (talking to customers) How long ya'll had.. OH ๐Ÿ˜ณ 3 months. Yeah.

me: Guess that answers your question. ๐Ÿ™„

I've spoke with a couple of you today... and you renewed my dislike for all of you.

You all need to learn how to read a bill and know what a data plan is for.
Also being able to explain something to the customer correctly would be a huge asset.

If you cannot do these 3 simple things, please go crawl under a rock and stay there

Can you please stop asking me when it's coming out!?!?!?!? Just because Johnny from down the street said it was coming out in September, doesn't mean it's actually coming out in September. Until Steve Jobs announces it, it is all RUMORS!!!! ๐Ÿ‘ฟ

And NO! I don't know what the price of the iPhone 4 is gonna drop to when the 5 comes out! I can't tell you what I don't know!

So I've been short evos all week

Which is bad because evos where on sale for free this week as we are cycling them out. All week I've been trying to call other stores and get some stock to no avail. Then today, the day before the sale ends, I get 13 of them.

I think I have to quit now...

I've worked in tech support for Magenta for a long time now, and when someone asks if a phone is bad or if we get a lot of complaints about a certain model I usually tell them it's a little unfair to judge, because nobody calls us to tell us everything is working just fine.

And for the first ime in the 3 years I've been doing this, that very thing happened. Somebody called in just to say everything was working just fine, and thanked us. That was it. End of call. ๐Ÿ˜ณ ๐Ÿ˜ณ ๐Ÿ˜ณ

This is a sign of the apocalypse, right? ๐Ÿ‘€ ...

poor lady

Just had a lady call in to let me know that the previous rep hung up on her after deactivating both of her sim cards. The rep wasn't in my center, so I can't beat her. The lady also has cancer and lives in the sticks and now can't call her boyfriend to tell him that she was told today that she has lung cancer and is dying....

Worst sad call ever.

Customers who come in say they're just looking, and then 10 minutes later say they want a specific phone.
So, you weren't just looking, and you lied to me? Awesome. I hope you know that I'm gonna notate your account that you refused help. ๐Ÿ˜ก
That way, when you get the survey and say I never explained the devices to you, they know why.
