me: mam, just to set expectations, customers cannot call back an agent. At AT&T sales, we do not have extensions.

customer: Oh, well, she gave it to me, it's ****"

me: ........ Ma'm, for all I know, she could be in a different call center across the united states, there are most likely well over 2k people who have the same job as I do.

customer: Ahhhh... well, she has my home phone number, she'll probably call me back...

me: 👿 Were you adding lines/ I'm sure I'm more than capable of finishing up your transaction ma'm/

customer. Yeahhh. No. Yeah.... she'll call me back. I just know it. *click*

me: (i explain that another rep attempted to call them, and that it wasn't me that called, therefore, i do not have their ptn)

Me: So all of your calls to other cell phones, regardless of carrier, are unlimited. Your minutes are only for calls to landlines. Would you need a lot of minutes for that?

Customer: I don't have a landline and don't want one, this is for a cell phone.

Um, no, you have an individual plan so you'd need a family plan to do that. Curse AT&T advertisement making it sound like you can add lines to any plan for just $9.99.
