haha I've actually used a line similar to that on the phone with a customer. called in wanting his upgrade fee waived, so I told him no. he was pissed and was like, 'I've been a customer with you for 9 years I want this waived' all the typical bs.. I must have been having a bad day, and my patience for dealing with bullshit was just about gone so I replied and told him, "sir it's a standard fee, it can't just be waived. look at like this, I've been a loyal patron of mcdonalds for probably close to 20 years now, and if I go in and want to get bacon on a bigmac, they're gonna charge me the 59 cents it costs, they're not just going to give it to me"
