ARRRRGGGHHH! More iPhone nonsense!

So, I'm driving my co-worker to work this morning. By the way, her and I work in Insurance, not the Wireless industry...

I can't help but overhear her talking out her neck on her phone- quite loudly- about the iPhone..

"You got Sprint? Yeah I got Sprint too. They comin' out wit da iPhone 5? Yeah I went to da store da other day and da girl there showed me a picture of the iPhone 5 and I was like 'Really?' and she was like 'Really!' and I was like oh wow and then she was like oh yeah and then she was like... oh what, it's the iPhone 4? Oh, wait what? Now is that the iPhone 4 F as in Fred or S as in Shiniqua? Oh really? I'm like wow, are you like wow? 'Cause if you're like whoah I'm a be like whoah and then my friend Latanyatoy...

Tell me why

when everyone comes up to the kiosk looking at our demo phones, they find it necessary to turn on 4G, wifi, GPS and Bluetooth as if it is needed right there and then??

There is no wifi around us, our 4G doesn't penetrate these mall walls, your not on the map so why do you need GPS and are you syncing up your bluetooth to my demo phone??

Some questions can just not be answered I guess.

new rant thread before my head explodes

Sorry, but another rant here. Heres some background

I am working my 7th consecutive day, every shift is between 7-9.5 hours. This is my third different location in that span, and its in a somewhat wealthy town, so everyone here thinks they're rich and important and have a very condescending attitude. Here goes:

Customer (lady and her 25ish year old daughter) is staring at phone display.

M: can i help you find anything?

C: I'm looking for att phones

M: You have found them (point directly in front of them) do you have service already

C: Yes, i have att and am looking for a new phone, maybe a flip phone.

M: This is our flip phone, $20, blah blah blah, are you eligible for upgrade?

C: Well its my daughters phone, but we j...

iSheep story.

For anyone who is familiar with Sprint and Everything Plus Referral accounts. I just had a customer that wanted to pre order the iphone on the website. I explained the complications with that and his SERO plan. After explaining things he told me, word for word. Change my plan. I want to pay $20 more per month for absolutely nothing.

YOU REALLY DONT KNOW IF I CHANGED MY PLAN

Me: Your contract end date is....
Cust: How is that possible...
Me: Changing your plan to promotional rate plan extends your contract (tmo).
Cust: How do you know I changed my plan, you weren't there. Pull up on your computer and show me.
Me: (trying to figure out how to do pull ups on a computer is rough btw, anyways...) It shows that you changed the plan on this date.
Cust: You are assuming I changed my plan, you don't really know.
Me: /facepalm. I wasn't employed with the company back then but all I can see is what the screen is displaying.
