Can Anybody Help Me Please

I have VZW and I was wondering where and how do I get Firefox for my browser on my Q, Im rather new to the whole smartphone realm and could really use some help. THNKS!!

Using a mobile phone before going to bed could stop you getting a decent night's sleep, research suggests.

The study, funded by mobile phone companies, suggests radiation from the handset can cause insomnia, headaches and confusion.

It may also cut our amount of deep sleep - interfering with the body's ability to refresh itself.

The study was carried out by Sweden's Karolinska Institute and Wayne State University in the US.

People Don't Listen

So this girl walks up and says she wants to add minutes to her prepaid

Me: We have mins in $10 $25 $50 and $100

Customer: Ok I'll have a $20 card

M: Sorry we don't have a $20 card only $25

C: Ok I'll take the $20 card

M: ...we only sell $10 $25 $50 and $100 cards we don't sell $20 cards

C: Ok then I'll take a $15 card

M: ........

C: Well I only have $20 so give me two $10 cards

M: Ok

C: On second though just give me a $10

M: Fine

I mean seriously how many times do I have to repeat what the normal amounts are? God I wanted to smack her and tell her not to be dumb.

so inmy call center we have teams. and we need to think of a new team name.. any ideas??? we're trying to incorporate the name sprint bc we are a sprint center.

"doing more with less"

Famous last words! I feel like I work at sprint! So my center director, along with the whole west reigon has decided that even though we are growing like a weed, our leaders have decided not to do any more major hiring to help with our call volume. They will back fill only. Everyone and their mom are basically taking care calls! No career progression out of care anytime soon. And hopefully they will at least let me take escalation calls, those are interesting, and funny sometimes! Regular old care calls are boring. Anyone else feeling the crunches of recession? Shouldn't they hire more during a recession? I don't do economics or politics, skool me peeps!

Another Stupid Question....

Wow do I hate stupid people....

Customer: Yeah I have a Razor and I purchased the insurance on it. The phone is fine, but I ran over the clip with my car...can I get a new one?

Me: Sir I'm sorry but the insurance only covers the actual phone, you would have to purchase a new clip for $19.99

Customer: Oh it doesn't cover the accessories too? Well what about a warranty on the clip or something?

Me: Some accessories carry a manufacturer's warranty against defects, however running the clip over with your car is not a manufacturer's defect.

Customer: That's stupid (storms away and leaves)

I keep telling myself it has to get worse before it gets better...but it never gets any better!!!

Yeah, the answer is still the same.

You can ask me 18 different ways... it's still the same question and the answer is the same.

If you want to get your employee discounts you MUST call the phone number for our business department. There is no other way. You can't go to a store, do it online, call the normal sales department, or set it up through your local wal-mart. You absolutely have to call that number, there is no option.

I don't know why this is so difficult, and keep asking me specific questions about our discount, I'll keep telling you I don't know because you need to call that number, I don't handle discounts. Yes, the number that I have given you five times already, that's the one you need to call. Ok, I'll give you that same number again, you ready?

Sprint: Genius or going under?

So I've been reading about the speculation of Sprint going under. Now as much as this may be a terrible practice, perhaps they are just looking for the best way to maximize profits while they are still in it. The more they piss off customers they more likely they leave. 639,000 customers left. I'm sure some were out. I'm sure some complained until they got out. But how many were just so fed up they paid the ETF? Even if say half did, that's $63.9 million in pocket and generally a company does make more if someone cancels than if someone pays their monthly bill. Hell I had a customer six weeks away that just wanted to cancel and port right now. Wouldn't listen to me about just paying the next bill and being done, they just paid the ETF. So ma...

they can pay a different phone company's bill here? A guy just came in and asked to pay a T-mo bill... last I checked, my shirt did not say T-Mobile.

Apple iPhones sales are they real

I think the iPhone sale figures are wrong if they count the units sold. They should be counting the activations on att. The iPhones are purchased and unlocked, not activated on att. This is happening all over the US a lot.

Oh yay ....

So I just found out today that my co-worker is transferring to another store to head it up and it's just going to be me and my manager to cover all the hours the store is open.

I honestly don't know if I'm going to be able to stick it out. I have so many reservations with this company in the first place, I just think now may be the time to move on.

SOLD OUT!

Of phones......almost completely. My stock is pathetic. I have nothing to offer under $50 to customers, and only have 2 of those left, then my jumping off price goes to $150. Cutbacks suck! I've lost $300 in commissions today because of lack of phones. I hate watching customers walk out the door. I might as well go home and be productive there, because I'm not making any more money until my warehouse decides to send me inventory. Some customers are understanding and say they're going to come back next week...but we'll see whether they wait on me, or go to Walmart down the street or the crap dealer on the other side of town. But I didn't get any stock at all this week, and if I'm lucky I might get 1 or 2 phones next week on my lower en...

Phones are NOT related to rate plans. You can get any phone you want. What you should be asking is what phone is free, you penny pincher!
