I work in a kiosk in a mall so i get a ton of people just coming by browsing. when they come up i always just start off easy and ask how theyre doing. I cant stand when i say how are you doing and they pretty much yell at me "i dont need any help!", or "im just looking!" i didnt ask if you need help or what youre looking at. i asked how you are. i hate rude a$$ people.

has been trying to close an upgrade for the last hr and a half... 🤣

hes dealing with an ignorant china men whos asking every fu*king question known in the industry then arguing the answers with him HAHAHA

he hasnt even started the order yet 🤣 🤣 🤣

so our POS system is down and we can't do upgrades, our payment system is down so we cannot take cash payments, and our BIS isn't working in a few areas...our store has been deemed useless today...

i've had 3 customers so far today that came in to transfer their contact lists and every one of them is shocked when i tell them there is a $10 fee to do that.

first lady was understanding. after the initial shock she agreed to pay the ten dollars and even bought a leather case as well.

the second customer just claimed that the other store did it for free and i told her she was more than welcome to go there if that was the case. i did offer her the discounted price of $5 which she still didn't take but whatever.

the third guy gets all kinds of upset and starts going off about how his phone is on an important corporate account and his family share plan is verizon as well and unless i give it to...

M: I'll try and help you over the phone. Did you make sure the bluetooth was in pairing mode

C: Yes

M: Then when you search for it with your Blackberry what do you get?

C: It won't let me do anything

M: Can you describe your bluetooth to me, maybe I can try and find the solution

C: It's a blackberry

M: No not your handset, your bluetooth

C: No, you don't understand. The bluetooth function. It's a function on my blackberry

M: Yes but you need a bluetooth headset to connect with your blackberry...

C: You don't seem to know your products very well *hangs up*

I seriously can't wait for school to start. Anyone who works in a mall will know what I mean. I've had about all I can take of the teenie weenie boppers coming in to abuse our equipment and drive us all crazy. They run into legitimate customers and nearly knock over old ladies. I hate kids. I really do.

as reps we usually get bombarded with questions on a daily basis so i'm dedicating this thread to questions, we the reps, would like to ask customers here are some of mine

1. why do you smell?
2. why do you ask me why your bill is so high? im not the one using your phone
3. why do you act so surprised when your credit check comes back bad
4. if you demand a phone thats free out the door, why do you get angry when it breaks?
5. why do you still actively see out the razr, these are typically ghetto people, nascar fans, or soccer moms who feel like they are still trendy
6. why do you think that because i'm nice to you i'm gonna give you a free blackberry out the door, I'm paid to be nice to you

First:

c - my phone quit working
m - well let's take a look, see what we can do
c - i took it off the charger and the screen just quit
m - looks like the hinge on the phone has been snapped off on one side. More than likely this is causing it to not get a connection to light up your display. (turns phone over, see's logo CINGULAR)
But since I am a VZW dealer, as far as options to repair or replace this phone, you would want to talk to someone regarding ATT products and services.
c - well i just figured that since i write Verizon 2 checks a month I could bring it to you, but instead you're going to be a (insert "fightin words for a woman")bag (female dog) about it and not help me.

that customers refuse to read the sign on the door.

I work for a 3rd party cellular reseller.
we repair phones in house.
we flash phones in house also.

we are right next to a cricket store....

20 times a day, customers come in looking for cricket and the name is on our door.

literacy too much to ask for.
