scary little girl

A skanky white trash woman comes in with her two kids to exchange a phone. One girl was probably about 5 and the other was around 3 I'd say. Well they were your typical kids who's mother didn't give a rip what they were doing. So they were running back and forth from the water cooler to the pod computer getting water and splashing it all over. The mother finally decides to tell the girls to knock it off and if either one of them gets anymore water they're in "trouble". The five year old sits down but the three year old decides to be a rebel and go to refill her cup. The mother starts to yell at her and the five year old turns and whispers very creepily "beat her a$$, mom". Mom replies "Yeah! I'm about to!"

This creepy little girl haunts m...

Samsung Rewards screwed me over.

I had saved up around 1.2 million points over the whole course of me working for a tmobile dealer. I sent in all the verifications that they asked me too and i received my card the other day and it was only 190$! So they are telling me that 2 tv's are worth 190$? psh. If anyone knows how i could get ahold of them i would greatly appreciate it.

Oh Happy Day!!! Go Boost Mobile!!! $50 Unlimited!!!

How many of you who sell Sprint Nextel products and service are pumped up now that Boost Mobile finally launched yesterday a wireless plan similar to Sprint's Simply Everything Plan, but half the price for their Nextel Motorola handsets? As long as you're not looking for fast wireless speed data, the most glamorous looking handsets and understand the restrictions of the iDEN network, I honestly don't think you'll find a better way to spend $50 for a wireless service with unlimited everything.

Wow

Where do I begin?

Customer walks into the store.

Me: How may I help you?

Customer stares at some accessories on the wall. I'm thinkin, "Yeah, an accessory sale!"

Customer walks to the Cash wrap.

C: Well, I need to know if I'm in the right place.

Me: U.S. Cellular?

Customer laughs obnoxiously, then gets this really serious look on her face.

C: Is it (competitor's name)?

Me: ๐Ÿ˜ณ It's right down the road.

C: Ok, that's all I needed then! *laughs obnoxiously again*

Does this make sense to anyone?

Me: Hey welcome to *** How can i help you?

C: I need to cancel a phone line

Me: Ok, is it out of contract?

C: No we just got it in December

Me: Ok, lets get the account pulled up and see what we can do.

C: Yeah its just an extra line on the account that we added to get a discount on a phone.

M: If you cancel, it'll be a 175 ETF

C: yeah i know, we just added it to get a great deal on the phone, we actually got it here! ๐Ÿ˜

M: ๐Ÿคจ um, ok.

Why wouldn't she just pay full retail????

Winter Flurry

Anyone know if this is just for US Cellular peeps or if they are doing it for all providers with different dates? just a bit curious. The prizes seem decent, however the point system seems kinda odd. I fear it could wind up being like the dreaded Samsung Rewards tho... โ˜น๏ธ

Frustrating. Very frustrating.

So I just got off this half hour long call because this guy didn't listen to me.

I opened the call "Thank you for calling AT&T about your wireless service..." His wireless number he gives me pulls up as "Account closed or cancelled." I ask him to hold to get him through to Care for assistance with this, or at least a reason as to why. I go through 2 reps and they can't figure it out. Billing system shows teh account was cancelled in may of 07.

On my third care rep (had to be transfered to business care twice) I go back to refresh the customer:

Cust: "This is Verizon right?"
Me: "Erm, no. This is AT&T"
My mind: "Like I said at the opening of the call 30 minutes ago.
Cust: "Oh, well, I've got the wrong place then. This has just be...

We're not the only ones. So happy.

I have a friend who works in insurance. I was on the phone with him when he had to take a business call on another phone. I heard his half of the conversation then got the full story.

Longer story short:
Guy runs big expensive work truck through the front of his own house. Seriously messes up the truck including frame damage. Has minimal liability coverage as required by law. No rental car coverage, etc.

Insurance garage calls everyone under the sun trying to get necessary parts to get this guy driving again (though I don't feel safe knowing he's on the road) and it will take 3 weeks to get the parts and another 2 weeks to fix the truck. They have to pretty much move everything to a new frame, but the truck is so new and expe...

This gave me a good laugh today...

I had a father come in today to add a line to his account. He has one line for his daughter. He wants to add a second line for his other daughter. I bring up eroes and ask him for his daughters phone number. He tells me he doesnt know it and has to ask her what her number is. He then calls her cell phone from his phone to ask her what her cell phone number is.

๐Ÿ˜ณ ๐Ÿคจ ๐Ÿคฃ

Unfortunately he called his wife then to ask her if it was in thier budget to add another line. She said no. ๐Ÿ˜ก

yesterday

we're open from 11 to 3 on sundays....

yesterday i made an appointment with one of my PC help clients to go by her house and fix her computer at 4PM.

from 11 to 1:20 yesterday i had one customer - a foulmouthed "army boy" wanting his contract cancelled with no ETF cuz he's shipping out.

okay. i deal with that, he leaves... and i dont see another soul for two hours. i play about five hundred games of solitaire.

then people start coming in. thankfully, some lines.

then, fifteen minutes before i'm supposed to close, i get an older couple who want a upgrade. they tell me what they need and i show them the lg 5500 and the samsung u430. BAD MOVE.

even though those phones, feature-wise, are exactly the same, they take twenty mi...
