New Store neme

I'm going to open up a new store, I'm thinking of calling it "robtheman wireless" we can say "call your mama a llama" for our catch phrase.

has anyone else heard that APPLE and at&T have decided not to renew their contracts ... and that they wont be making iphones anylonger??

Translation Please

Scenario:
Customer comes in and starts rambling in spanish. I'll say I can't speak or "Fully understand spanish" unless they talk really really slow.

Customer:
Really really really fast speaking spanish

Me:
"no se hablar espanole" ๐Ÿคจ
tring to make it apparent that I don't speak spanish

Customer:
stops for a min...the starts to talk really really really fast in spanish about there phone messing up

Me:
again "no se hablar espanole" ๐Ÿคจ

Customer:
"Por Que" ๐Ÿ˜ฒ
Why

Me:
and I actually cant believe i said this but,
"Because I was born here" ๐Ÿคจ

Customer:
Looks at me and walks to the phones and looks at me and starts asking about the phones...in spanish

Terrible morning

Ugh what a crappy start to the day. First my car won't start because its low on gas and my drive way is on a slant. So I have to walk to the gas station and get gas. Then I get to work and as soon as I open the door this stupid lady walks in.

Stupid Lady: I need to pay my bill because you people turned off my phone.

Me: Ok

She pays her bill and I tell her it will take 2 hours to trun back on.

SL: I want a new phone how much will it cost me?

Me: well your account is still suspended but if you want to come back in when its active I can look up that info for you.

SL: I hate the plan I'm on when can I get on a normal plan(she is on flex-pay, suprise suprise)

Me: Well at this point the company doesn't offer the ability...

Money hungry much

So I have this co-worker that I work with. Every day that I have worked with her, she jumps on every customer that walks through the door. She can be helping one customer with a transaction half way through the transaction another customer walks in asking about an upgrade. Guess what she does, before I even get to speak with the customer she is talking to them about a sale. Also when I'm with a customer and she is with a customer, she seems to butt it on every conversation and over powering the sale that I am working on. I get frustrated and the customer does as well, but she keeps talking. I have had several customers walk out of the store because of her being pushy to them, and coming back to me after she left for me to finish the sale. Th...

All Sprint corporate retail employees take heed please.

I hope Sprint's Corporate Security lurks here at Phone Scoop and somehow nabs every Sprint corporate employee who leaks any information pertaining to the Palm Pre. I hope those Sprint corporate retail employees, like those in my store, start crapping their drawers after reading this thread. I wish I could see the looks on their faces...

Increasing traffic

I work at an Indirect verizon store. we are located on a "strip mall" next to a wal mart (the closest thing to a shopping center this area has).

Besides wal-mart, there are two other indirect kiosks located within 5 miles of our location (they are in "malls" which are realistically a strip mall with a covered walkway. Both stores have been here for at least 3 years, but they both have a negative reputation with a lot of customers.

The nearest corp location is about an hour away.

We opened last july, and always had trouble getting enough traffic in the store to hit the numbers we're expected. I know that these past few months are tough on everyone, but we can go for days now without having a single customer come into the store LOO...
