I want to be able to block threads I no longer want to see. Like Gays in the workplace threads or religion threads that take up THE ENTIRE PAGE.....

Rich, is it possible to make the "choices" on the lfet "float" so when we scroll to the bottom of a page, they would be available there?

Do you guys intend on making a different way to return to the thread listings?

Ex. -

I'm browsing through the pages of the Moto Q forum, I get to page 30, and start reading a thread. Now when I hit back to message list, it takes me to page 1, whereas I'd like to go back to page 30.

It gets very frustrating having to reclick through all the threads. If there was a return to page X link below the return to message list it would be much easier.

Did you guys decide to change standards based on complaints or based on a sort of sense of civic responsibility?
I dont understand some of your new policy anyway. It is kind of vague and seems to give you license to delete any thread based on the fact that you just dont like it. Of course, you have that perogative as the creator/moderators of the site anyway, but at least we could see that there was a reason for it based on the terms of this site.
Now it seems more like a slow slide towards fascism based on good intentions than anything truly beneficial to your website.

Personally, threads or posts directed towards me, negative or not, are the reason I frequent this site now. I dont need this site as a cell phone salesman anymore, s...

I want to take a moment to officially welcome Eric Zeman on board. 🙂

Eric is an experienced tech journalist. He wrote for Mobile Enterprise Magazine for nearly five years, where he was Editor in Chief. He's also worked for several other tech publications and done a variety of freelance work in the field.

I'm just curious Rich. How old are you and the two Eric's and where do the three of you reside? I'm a bit familiar of Eric Zeman's wireless journalism background. How did you and Eric Linn get into the industry?

I got a problem with my "Sony Ericsson" W550i's bluetooth,
I can send files via bluetooth but cant receive any,
[(Inspite of having almost 100MB memory as free)it shows a msg something like "MEMORY FULL! PLEASE DELETE ONE OR MORE ITEMS"]

Can anybody tell me what must be the problem?

...when Phone Scoop wasn't so big. I liked it more when Phone Scoop was the first to show phones that came out... long before the carrier even hinted about it.

Now it is just one big place that reviews current phones and brings in gossip from uneducated people.

I guess as a company grows it needs to be careful in the legal perspective. But I just wish phonescoop.com would come back, continue what it started, and be the "ultimate sneak preview" site for upcoming phones.

Right now, I am visiting "other sites" (that I won't mention) more frequently. Even though they are less reliable. I will continue to go to them and not phone scoop because they are more responsive to those who really want to know about upcoming phones B...

Just curious really. I live and work in an area where Cell 1/Western Wireless is not available, but I enjoy reading all the forums. Especially since I do have customers who come in from the plains and mountains and ask about these services.

Also whats the deal with Amarillo in the Western Wireless/ Cell One scheme of things? Why does each company have a seperate branch in Amarillo? Thanks

I've noticed, in particular thread (I'm unsure if it has/is occurring in others), that some of the comments I have read are reverting back to appear as though I have not read them.

I haven't cleared my browsing history.

I was curious if anyone else had noticed this or if anyone had guess as to what is happening.

At first I was crazy, but it seems like (could be wrong) that more of the comments are reverting back as time goes by.

Regardless, I'm sure they are reverting and I'm not crazy.

Just wanted to get rid of that necropost...
