i just signed up for a Gravatar and uploaded one, but when I post something, it has a gray person with a ?.

I used the same email as PS and I enabled Gravatar in Account settings.

So you have the glossary for all the cell phone industry terms. But being new to the forums I sometimes find myself lost reading posts about "trolls" and being "Pwned". I get the just of it from the context in which they are used, but I think it would be benificial to add a forum glossary for newer users...
Or maybe Im just the only person that has this problem, I dont know.

Have you guys ever thought about starting a cell phne hall of fame? I think it would be a pretty sweet link. You could have different ways to get in. Some of the top rated phones by users, phones that broke down barriers(ie Razr), most popular phones, etc. Im sure there are about 100 things phones could get in the hall of fame for. Maybe users could even nominate phones for different reason to be approved by a hall of fame council. Or some crazy stuff I dont know just an idea.

Hi all,
since 2 days i had a problem in charging my e-61 - so i used my other nokia in the mean time till i fix it, but that same night i tried again, and it charged.
today i wanted to charge again, as soon as i connect it to the elecricity, it says ''''not charging'''' and every 2 minutes it reminds me that it is not charging.
did anyone have this same problem and any one has an idea whats wrong.

p.s- i realised that everytime i open the ''worldmate'' to download new weather forecast it doesnt charge again.
please help me its really making me crazy.

I have a quick question. I had a post that was reported by someone (he told me he reported it), and I looked later in the day to find out that the post had been deleted. I didn't get a warning via email for the post. I assume that a post above mine was deleted which, in turn, deleted my post as well. My question is: Do you ever delete posts without issuing warnings, or do you issue a warning every time a post is deleted? The reason I ask is that I know that my post was reviewed, yet I didn't get warned about it. Does this put me under some sort of watch list or "3 strikes and you're out" list, or is it simply a matter of me not posting anything that was in need of deletion?

On occasion when I attempt to post loading screen after I click submit will turn white and not respond. I can look at other posts if I click back but get the same result every time I click submit in attempt to respond to a post. I noticed that this only occurs when an advertisement fails due to my firewall and I end up with a page on my start bar that can not open or close. Any ideas on how to avoid this?

I was typing a subject heading, and sometime during the course of editing and clicking, I noticed the a change in the smilies bar.

The second smiley from the right changed into an text html link named "Very Happy" and worked the same.

I just thought it was odd that it was the only one that changed.

Did I just happen to hit the right key combo?

we're very picky about what we put up on phonescoop. our front page news is carefully chosen, and as free from opinion as we can make it. our in depth articles show a little more personality, but require a lot more time and effort to create, so they are even more carefully chosen.

every day there's at least one thing that Rich or we Erics are dying to say - whether it's an interesting news story, some analysis, a personal opinion, etc. - that we simply didn't because there has been no place for us to do so. so we've created a place where we can let loose. the mr. hyde to phone scoop's dr. jeckyll if you will (only significantly less dangerous).

I seem to recall an article regarding the iPhone and the FCC approved version. The article read the version they saw did NOT have WiFi. Could you please confirm if this is correct or if the crack I use is a bad batch.

By any chance Rich was the change in the Carriers section made to reflect the ranking of the wireless carrier as far as the Tier 1 carriers are concerned? The reason I ask Rich is because I noticed the Sprint and the Sprint Together With Nextel are no longer side by side as they were a day ago and it appears the wireless carriers are indeed in order of subscriber numbers.

Configuring a detailed phone finder search take a bit of time. You should save the user's settings.

Also, I have a notebook with a wide screen - I think this is becoming quite common. The phone scoop web site occupies just a thin piece of my screen. It would be nice if you had a wide mode.

Any way to program the softkeys to do something other than "Contacts" and "Music"? Any way to remove the EVDO icon from the screen?

I really appreciate that you guys don't indulge in reporting rumors. I along with many others have been eagerly awaiting the G'zOne type-s that was reported to be an upgrade according to the rumors of engadget. I do enjoy the sneak previews of upcoming phones, but what is the point if the accuracy of the information is way off.
