Text MSG Programs...

Does anyone know of any programs or user interfaces for text messaging that is better than the one that came with my Nextel phone? I have a very difficult time using Nextel's program; I cant find numbers, edit, or create messages as well as I did with my Tmobile service. Any info/help would be highly appreciated. Thanks a million, Killa K

comming aboard!...chirp chirp..done

dont think im gonna migrate to cingular. they simply arent competative. lets see. cingular wants 49.99 for 600 min. nextel, 55.99 for 1000 minutes. you do the math. cingular has more coverage..true, nextel coverage has all major cities covered so im good. rollover?..simply a gimmick, however its marketing genuis.

The future of 3G (attention Nextel18)

Nortel demos OFDM/MIMO combo for beyond-3G standards
By Sam Omatseye
Mar 9, 2005
Nortel Networks Ltd. said it has reached what it described as a milestone in a demonstration of OFDM and MIMO technologies, with speeds that transcend current third-generation capabilities.

continued below
OFDM is the base radio technology used by Wi-Fi and WiMAX, while MIMO is an advanced antenna and space-time processing technology, explained Nortel.

Knowing what market your in?

Ok, i know if you go on the website you can find out what market you in. Is there a way to find out what market you in by looking at some setting in your phone? Like i know on the i730 you can do pound, star, menu, right and it brings up a special menu. Is there some place in there maybe that tells you?

Just curious, thanks.

Nextel/Sprint merger question???

Ok correct me if Im wrong, but with this merger, it will make Sprint/Nextel the 3rd largest with roughly about 30 + million customers. But the company will have a largest coverage area covering more people then any carrier available today??? I read this in two different places but was not sure if I read correctly. The 1st place I read it was about 5 - 6 months before the merger was announced, and the other place was from RCR wireless magazine.
