Hey all you Nextel fans remember a company only allows itself to get bought out when it is FAILING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CAn you say horrible service, dropped calls, ridiculously priced plans wow now it makes sense to me to switch to nextel NOT!!!!

Shows that you have no idea, it is a merger of the 2 companies with equal representation at the board table and backbone resources.
Both companies have issues, NEXTEL with capacity and Sprint with coverage/building penetration. Both have a lot to gain by allowing sharing of their resources.
Next time do some reading before you go off on a tangent....

Realize that Verizon was formed by the same method you seem to be so against...mergers and acquisitions. Verizons path started, if I'm not mistaken, started with AirTouch, PrimeCo, BellAtlantic Mobile, NYNEX wireless, etc. That's the law of the jungle...the strong survive. But there is another jungle law... sometimes by combining strengths, one becomes stronger than the strong. 10 hyenas, although much smaller than a lion, can make a nice feast of that lion if they work together.

its a terrible company? hmm then how come they did very well in 2004 with arpu, and churn? and how come their boost mobile did well and their arpu is 30 bucks which is a lot higher then the other prepaid services. how come the average lifetime revenue per user was about 4500 which is 22 percent higher then its next commpetitor? best arpu, best chrun. and thats bad? hmm something must be wrong.
