i noticed that you have to have the phone in the correct spot on your ear... it's not the most comfortable. I know that sounds dumb, but I automatically put the phone too high on my ear and the speaker misses my ear canal.

On ANY GSM phone on Cingular, you can control the TIME (in seconds) that your phone will ring before it goes to VM. You can control this anytime you want and the change is immediate.
On your phone dial:
*61*+1XXXXXXXXXX*11*tt#
Where XXXXXXXXXX is your market's VM number and tt is the time in seconds you want the phone to ring for. I believe valid range is 1-30!
Example for NYC market ...

I just switched to Cingular from Tmobile. Is there a way to adjust the amount of rings you before a call goes to voice-mail? I have a Razr phone.

that is strange. the only time that has happened to me is when I emailed a picture to multiple email address's at once. I did run into trouble sending it to an AOL email address. It never was received. Aside from AOL I have not had issues.

the phone was not only for AT&T. They did have the exclusive US rights for the phone. which I think buys them 30 days to sell it before other carriers can get it. They've done this with other phones in the past also.

after you send the email, in the "message outbox" it will list all messages you sent. to the left of the subject it will show an envelope. The envelope should have a check on it. If the message did not get send i think it has a red "x" on it. I can't really help with the settings, because mine came set up already.

I've only had my T-mobile v600 for a few days. So far it is great. I was worried about it, since everyone on this forum complains about it. I'm glad I waited and bought the T-Mobile branded v600.

t-mobile does what it can to cut costs, i would think it would cost them more to have the hardware limit the phone to tri-band since it is manufactured in mass for quad-band.

My V60i has that also. It is because these GSM phones can have two phone #'s on one sim card. I heard that a lot of people outside the US have this feature.

Don't do anything serious to your computer to fix this problem! All you have to do to make it work is this:
I assume you're installing MPT v1.23c. If so, then you will need to update to v2.16, and then all the way up to v2.20. So when you're installing v1.23c, ...
cingular v600 with t-mobile
I was in a local cingular store, and they will sell me a v600 with no activation or contract for 415.00. They say it'll work with t-mobile, any thoughts on this? If I buy it how hard is it to configure to work with t-mobile/ t-zones and email. I know i can just take my sim carfd out of my v60, but what else do i need to do? thanks
