text message to e-mail address(T-Mobil)

Has anyone had any success sending a text message or a text message with a picture to an e-mail address? I have been trading e-mails with the tech support at T-Mobil for several days and either they don't read the question, ignore the question and answer something completely off the wall or ask me to repeat the same thing that I just did that didn't work. I'd like to be able to take a picture with the camera and be able to send it to an e-mail address since not everyone can receive picture w/text messages.

I've had no problems doing it. Is your v600 tmobile branded? Mine came set up to send picture emails with no problem.

It is T-Mobile branded. I can send text to a phone, pictures to a phone but can't send text to an e-mail address. I can also receive an e-mail with a picture on the phone. The trouble is just sending it through T-Mobile. It doesn't get through and there is no indication that there was a problem with the transmission.

after you send the email, in the "message outbox" it will list all messages you sent. to the left of the subject it will show an envelope. The envelope should have a check on it. If the message did not get send i think it has a red "x" on it. I can't really help with the settings, because mine came set up already.

The problem isn't sending the message - they are all sent. They just never arrive at the destination and there is no indication that there was a problem with the transmission - no error message, no bounceback notice and no red x by the envelope in the message outbox.

that is strange. the only time that has happened to me is when I emailed a picture to multiple email address's at once. I did run into trouble sending it to an AOL email address. It never was received. Aside from AOL I have not had issues.

Turns out it works with Yahoo Mail but not Hotmail or the mail server at work. Don't know why it doesn't go through and haven't heard back from T-Mobile on why it wouldn't.

After several weeks of back and forth with tech support at T-Mobile, one finally said that many e-mail programs treat the tmomail.com domain as spam and the filters take them out. Added the domain to my white list at home and work and now they go through with no problem, pictures and all.
