I've only had my T-mobile v600 for a few days. So far it is great. I was worried about it, since everyone on this forum complains about it. I'm glad I waited and bought the T-Mobile branded v600.

I wouldn't be worried about this phone for any carrier, remember the problems with Cingular only affected 5% of the total phones supplied to them.

I think the "problems" Cingular had related to particular 850 MHz equipment in their towers that was not 100% compatible with the V600. They did state the phone met all required standards but fell short on something relating to their system. For everyone else (AT&T, T-Mobile, Orange, etc.) the handset is fine.

You can look at this like Cingular acquired something possibly non-standard only later to discover the issue affected a very smal number of customers working off those sites.

☹️ I just got the phone last Thursday from 1-800-TMobile and the phone was defective. There is a dead pixel on the screen and the color of the screen is kind of like wash out. so just sent it back and waiting for my replacement to arrive.
