Just an opinion, but those are two CRITICAL functions. I feel 1 ● would have been more in order because these are basically unusable in regular everyday conditions.

Customer comes in- "I wanna pay the minimum amount to restore service, how much is it?" What I WISH I COULD SAY --It's $xxx.xx -WHAT!? Why is it that much? ((Research bill history)) Well, back in June, you got a $300 bill and only paid half of it, you keep carrying that past due balance over and each month you're paying the minumum so your balance is getting larger. --Well that's BULLS#!+!! Yeah, I've been told by several people I have vented to that I should join along in the games, but that's just not me. I'm better than the rest of the crowd and won't sell myself short- ever. After 7 yrs in the industry, I'm feeling the mobile burn (no not the website.) I love the tech, like most of the customers, and hate the BS. Sadly until I graduate, I'm pigeonholed! Ok, here's my rant- I love working in wireless. I thrive in the midst of all this technology. It excites me so much it puts a twinkle in my eye. He's the problem though, after doing this for 7 years with 3 different companies, I know darn near everything there is to know about cell phones and troubleshooting. Ironically- the screen seems to actually be a VGA lcd, but WM6 Standard only support QVGA resolution. This gives the menus and icons a sort of unpolished look. You guys will see what I'm talking about when it comes out.

The biggest difference will be that Cingular/Att's 3G network will actually exist. Where T-Mobile's 3G will continue to be a mysterious mythological entity. (Note: I'm an employee- I'm not bashing- Just bitter!)

Not coming anytime soon. I met Neville Ray (the President of Network Development) and his team, and they told me that SE is a bit harder to work with in the states, particularly with the myFaves launch. Samsung will pretty much do anything TMO tells them to, which explains our wide selection of Samsungs. They are also improvnig reltions with Nokia and Motorola. On the other hand SE is harder to make custom software for, ...

Re: PTT?

VERY unlikely to happen... PTT has been an absolute money pitfor every carrier but Nextel.. When I worked for Cingular during the PTT launc.. NOBODY signed up- they wasted soo much money installing PTT and have nothing to show for. If T-Mobile does launch it.. it will be after the HSDPA launch early next year.. whats nice about HSDPA is that there is so much extra bandwidth that PTT is pretty much all software.

Sure people whined about not having high end phones.. but not as high end (and lo end on features) as the 8801. Every 8801 that we have sold has been returned because customers aren't getting their money's worth. I think it would be in T-Mobile's best interest to expeand the handset lineup. Our rate plans are fine.. that's what brings people into our stores. They leave when they see our crappy phones. We maybe ...

I typiclly can make about $3,000/mo gross but there are guysthat make $6-7g/month. T-Mobile is also nice and laid back about feature and accesory attachments. The T609 is a GREAT phone. The ONLY thing I dislike about it is the fact that it will not ring and vibrate simultaneously. It will vibrate THEN ring. As for the $50 dollar price difference, save the $50 get the T609 and for $50 you can get a 1GB MicroSD on pricewatch.com Alot better than the 64mb the t809 has. The T609 runs circles around the t809 in battery life, reception, and volume, ...

They really are garbage. Best phone we have now-- besides the overpriced 8801.. I'd say is the 6103 or t609. Both are very well rounded in features, reasonably priced, and have great rf. I never get em returned either.. so taht helps.

See.. thats one of the things I HATE about the MDA. I don't want my contacts to be sorted like Outlook sorts them. I want them to be sorted like they are on a phone--IE: Bob Smith 555-5555 ... not Smith, Bob (h)555-5555. The windows platform is just too convoluted. I've had the MDA since the day it came out.. (I work for TMO,) and while the screen looks pretty bad with the brightness down.. it can be turned up very easily. Go into settings>system>backlight. Voila! It gets bright enough to counteract most direct sunlight. As far as reception goes. Just flash a QTEK radio rom to it. I don't see it happening. I work at a TMO corp store, and the word around the regional offices is that TMO wants to get rid of alot of indirects and focus more on national retail. Indirects have literally ruined the company image in many markets, and that's not something TMO is too happy about.

Well outsourcing is something that we have to deal with. But I really think for something as serious as a job interview process, it would make more sense to keep it stateside.
