The T-Mob needs Sony Phones

I been hoping for a while t-mob would pick up some tight new sony's. Anybody know anything??

Not coming anytime soon. I met Neville Ray (the President of Network Development) and his team, and they told me that SE is a bit harder to work with in the states, particularly with the myFaves launch. Samsung will pretty much do anything TMO tells them to, which explains our wide selection of Samsungs. They are also improvnig reltions with Nokia and Motorola. On the other hand SE is harder to make custom software for, as well as having higher handset cost. Looks like we're stuck with unlocked handsets for now!

that sucks butt. sony has some tight a$$ handsets. Samsung is ok i guess lol. I've got nothing to say about motorola. Thanks for the input

Yep, I agree. I used to work for SunCom and we carried Sony-Ericsson phones there and they were always the best. But it's true that Samsung is easier to get to make changes to the sfotware.

You really have to admire their business strategy- they truly have carved out solid niche by being technology whores to whatever the carriers want in their handsets.
