Please I have used the moto Droid next to the iPhone 3g. Both have plus and minus over each other but the Droid is certainly comparable. In fact I liked it better. How many times do you travel a year...most people say I wish this phone or that was global and they never go anywhere. Lame

1. You can not unlock the storm for att
2. The storm is a vzw exclusive, I'm sure you know what that means
Basically, drop your deadbeat carrier and switch to vzw.

Beergirl..2 things. One if you do not have evdo coverage you can still get internet access. It is obviously slower, however with vzw covering 80 percent of the US with evdo you shouldn't have a huge problem.
Second thing--gsm is actually the older technology. The reason it is used overseas is because they started that first ans then cdma came out and it is extremely expensive to change an entire network, plus in europe you would have ...

Yes that is cool. I guess my question reallý goes out to 50 and less plans and secondary lines. Although sometimes that extra two months makes a difference.

That's always a good idea, only problem with that is a lot of people break or lose their phones. Its only 70 bucks more on a one year.

One year contract vs two year
I'm interested, what term contract do most of you choose? I know that most people I know know choose two years and then seem to not be able to keep the phone and then pay full retail or pay 6 bucks a month for ins and then a 50 deductible. That does not help your situation I know, but if they have nothing in place its really not their fault as much as you want it to be. They had ins for you to purchase and gave you a year warranty. Alls I'm saying is from the numbers givin there is nothing to say they are spending more than they are making. You have said they are but have givin no evidence to the fact. For all you know vzw's expebses maybe 4 billion a year still leaving them with 13 billion profit.

I guess you can't admit your wrong and don't understand debt and revenue. Revenue is the amount of money a company makes, its like the money you get to keep in your paycheck...debt is like when you pay your cellphone bill you owe them money. So if they take in 47 in revenue meaning you make that kind of like your paycheck but they owe 30 like your cellphone bill you only have 17 billion left over for whatever ...

Actually what you did say was vzw was 30 billion in debt and brought in 47 billion in revenue and you went on to say they were spending more than they made which by the equations that have been presented to you more than once indicate that vzw is still making money and not losing.

I don't think liquidfire is trying to argue any debt with you he is simply stating that u said 47 billion in rev and 30 billion in debt that still leaves vzw looking good. I don't think it would have been an issue if you didn't get on that sprint guy. What you said did not make sense.

I used to live by syracuse university I have a verizon phone, it worked everywhere. My friend directly across the street had a sprint phone, his phone worked at my house but not his...a mere 100 feet away! This is in syracuse my friend, while not the size of ny or chi. Its a city with more than a million people. You should not have problems like that in a city that size.

I would definitly get the 8600. Its one of the best phones out now, my brother just got it. The porthole has great time and the phone has better sound than the glyde. I don't like the touchscreen either. Well what you going to get???

Gps you can get on almost any phone and 3g will just make internet faster, its not much different I doubt its worth but its your call.

I'm not saying anything bad about palm don't take me the wrong way. However I think its time they updated their software if they want to keep pulling in new customers. The centro is a step in the right direction I mean it looks nice but a new os is needed. Even bb is getting a new one with the upcoming touchscreen and I believe the bold will be newer as well.
