I use the Atrix and I love it as it is. Apparently AT&T is deploying it's HSPA+ at the end of the month and i'm pretty pumped. Anyways, WHO cares about uploading...

Early iPhone upgrades have been available for the 3G, 3GS and 4. The cost is currently $200 more than the full standard upgrade pricing.

I work for an ATT indirect and we didn't get the iphone until March 2010. It was great getting the phone, but the commission on that piece of **** doesn't make it worth selling. Plus you have to deal with the Dbag iSheep customers that buy into it. If/when you get it, good luck. Maybe you guys will get paid more. Also, dont forget to sign your Apple sales agreement! If you forget, you could jeopardize your companies sales ...

Good luck to big red and the new iphone, hopefully they'll put better hardware in there CDMA version to get better service. Too bad it wont be 4G though...

To be a bit more specific, I would say the "Curve" series has been relatively close throughout the years. But I also agree that the iphone is right there with the curve. I will credit the iphone on having more advanced features than the Curve. BUT Same old curve, same old iphone.

Saint Paul, MN, surrounding suburbs and northern areas. No problem with ATT and 3G at all, unless i'm WAY up there. Those hillbillies still write checks and dont have stoplights so they dont count anyways. I've been with Cingular/att since sept 05'. Only complaints I hear are from people using cryPhones. Hmmm...
Kinda whack about the memory card issue, but....
I won one in a sales contest and can't wait to get it! I'm extremely impressed with it. I thought Windows was dead for sure... Good job guys. :D

I agree with the ban on texting while driving. The reason being is that you're actually taking your eyes off the road. Talking while driving is another story. I've personally had NO issue talking and driving... I think that it's just another distraction that needs to be dealt with on more personal level. I don't want to deal with a "talking while driving" ticket when i'm more than capable of doing it.

at&t said they based their 2gb data plan off of at&t users themselves. "98% of at&t customer do not exceed 2GBof data". So I say if you want more data, start using more now and exceed 2GB, maybe it will help??

AT&T has a $100 unltd Talk, Text and Web plan that includes nation wide long distance and roaming. It's for quick messeging phones only. BUT for $5 more you can do the 200MB plan on any smartphone. Close enough.

Anyways... All is i'm saying is if you like your Tour(minus the browser), you'll love the Torch(partially because of the browser). Size wise it's about the same only it slides. The pinch zoom feature is nice and the overall touchscreen is very responsive. I would urge you to at least try it out, I think you'll be impressed.

Not a fanboy what so ever. I'm just saying that i'm impressed with what they've done coming from a 9700. I obviously don't need a hardcore processor and a bunch of ****ty apps(even tho it has SOME apps). Good camera and pretty respectable battery life. Also, BBM works great and the features are nice. So you can defend your dickrobot phone all you want, what I said is strickly an opinion.

I really like BB and use the 9700 and feel that I am left in the dark with lack of the App's and browser. I know it has apps and a browser, but come on now... I completely agree. You'll feel great about that phone for a month or so. Of course until something new comes out, and destroys it(spec wise). I too work for one of the hungry giants, but I feel like I cannot even buy a new phone these days in fear that something new will come shortly after. All aboard the saltiness train fanboys! :lol:
