Can I Use a Verizon IPHONE on Cricket?
I want to buy a Verizon Iphone, but i do not want to pay their prices for the monthly bill. So I am thinking of flashing the phone. Can i successfully flash a VERIZON Iphone to cricket? Where I can use text/mms, web, and phone? Or, does anyone think there is a better company to flash the phone too, that is not a contract?

IPhone 4 making randon calls? Anyone else have this issue?
My Iphone 4 made a random call to someone. I picked the phone up and A call was in progress. It got my friends voicemail and the whole conversation was recorded. The phone was not in my pocket at all.
This is not an isolated incident. My phone called one of my friends. He picked up and heard my conversation. This seems to be happening to names/numbers on my recent calls list. Is anyone else experiencing this problem? Is there a fix for it? This very scary to say the least. Thanks!!!

Am I the only one that can initiate a conference call?
I hear a lot of reviewers saying the CDMA iPhone does not allow you to initiate a conference call, but mine will allow me to "add call".
Now, the "add call" button is greyed out for the first 15 seconds of the call, but after that it does become available. Just have to be patient I guess.
Is this the case for everyone else?

Will Verizon unlock the iPhone 4?
Verizon provides the unlock codes for other phones. Does anyone know whether it will do so for the iPhone 4?
Forget my question. It just occurred to me that the iPhone 4 is a CDMA phone only. I'll ask that question again when Verizon finally releases an iPhone that has both GSM and CDMA bands.

Some of my web sites require flash player. Is there an easy way to get flash player to work?
Thanks
Have you tried Skyfire browser? It lets you watch flash content.

Buy iPhone 4 from Best Buy Mobile or Verizon?
I was wondering if anyone can share any positive or negative experiences with purchasing iPhone 4 from Best Buy Mobile.
I could hold out for the iPhone 5, but I have been holding out for the iPhone 4 since March 2010. Now that it has arrived, I find myself wanting to wait to purchase until after Apple's WWDC in early June, to see if a credible (from the source: Apple) eta on iPhone 5 is revealed.
My parents have had great experience with Black Tie Protection insurance on Garmin GPS nav systems, and have received 2 or 3 free replacements to current models.
Another benefit to Best Buy is the Buy Pack Protection Program...I know they only give 50% back first 6 months, but would provide for easy upgrade to iPhone 5 when released.
Ba...

I got a Droid Incredible from Best Buy (and a month later I paid full retail for an iPhone 4 from an apple store, but that is beside the point). The good thing about best buy was I got a really good price on the phone, however they messed up the plan ...

I also bought at Best Buy and at the time they threw in the Buy Back Protection Plan free. One caveat, in order to get the full price of the buy back that they told you, you will need ALL of the original equipment, manuals, and box, otherwise you will...

My ITUNES LIBRARY
All the songs in my itunes Library, should they all be checked or not? If they are all checked, then when i sync my phone, will i have duplicates? Do you have to check & uncheck them one at a time, or is there a way to check or uncheck them all one time?
They must remaib checked, unless you want them removed when you sync your phone.

Two Difference Versions of the iPhone 4 for VZW!?
What is the difference between the following two versions of the Verizon Wireless Apple iPhone 4: BCG-E2422A and BCG-E2422B?
Mine original phone, ending in B, was replace by Apple with a version ending in A, and I'm concerned that it does not vibrate as strongly.
Please advise! Thank you!
I bought mine from Apple instead of Verizon. Mine ends in A. They give refurbished ones for replacements usually but I'm not sure if it's been on the market long enough to have been refurbished already.

Battery Life
I've had the IP4 on the early delivery, previously had a BB Storm2.
My battery life is very poor, not lasting a day, where the Storm typically lasted. Also, can not change battery like the BB.
i've shut wifi, dimmed display, no gps..
what's been your experiences?
any suggestions?
thanks
I had the HTC Droid Incredible in-between an AT&T iPhone and my Verizon iPhone and I can say the battery life on the iPhone is heaven in comparison.
With the AT&T iPhone I would turn off 3G when I needed extra juice. I noticed there is a similar o...

While All the Reviewers Here Are Ejaculating Over the iPhone
Went into a Verizon store today and put one through its paces and believe me, there's lots to like.
What made me decide to wait for a 4G phone was that the same web pages loaded 3X FASTER on the Samsung Fascinate (a 3G Android) as they did on the iPhone.
FYI, 4G will cost you more when it gets rolling.... not available in my area until 2012 - 2013 so not a big deal for now... major metropolitan areas only... by then the iPhone 6 will be coming out....

Voice mail
I have the droid Incredible..I can set a number to go straight to voice mail when they call..Will not ring on my phone..Just shows I missed a call..Can it be done on the Iphone 4??
You can also accomlish this via Google Voice I believe. That is where you get a Google Voice number and tell whomever you want to block to call that number instead.

iOS vs. WebOS vs. Android
If anyone has owned all 3 operating systems, who do you think is the best?
I had the iPhone 3GS (iOS), Palm Pre (WebOS) and now have the EVO 4G (Android).
Here is what I think....WebOS is the best operating system (sucks it has limited apps) but IMO it goes to show that while PALM is no longer here, they had the most experience with smart phones and operating systems (they are one of the original smartphone creators) and HP now needs to step up the hardware WebOS runs on.
The iPHONE definitely has the best build qualify and is the most polished hardware.
Evo 4G and Android has the best specs and is the most customizable, but with all of different apps for main functions like SMS, it feels like its not as smooth.
I'm sticking w...

The Android OS and its apps are about like Shareware - glitchy and unsophisticated. WebOS is a great operating system, but it has suffered from the crappy phones it was on and lack of serious apps. If those two factors change it could become a major...

Cheaper way for Personal Hot Spot - Tethering iphone to Laptop
Just got the iphone last Friday. Really like it thus far except...
I am on the road (unfortunately in hospital mucho these days) and in past have used PDA NET with my HTC to tether. Was free to do so.
With iphone4/Verizon for personal Hotspot is 20 bucks a month for 2G. (this is over and beyond the normal monthly data plan fee) If you go over 2G another 20bucks.
Well, In a matter of days I had used 90%.
Hate to lose this phone and go Droid but need an unlimited plan or a cheaper solution.
Thank you for any help.
I have a Palm Pre Plus. Hotspotting it costs $0, because Verizon is still doing free Mobile Hotspot with Palm Pre devices...

Talking and surfing
I see alot of peole talking about that(Talking and surfing) in the Verizon I phone reviews. who really does that enough for it to be a factor. I think of it as more of a "I can do this couse I can" type thing other than something that would be a deal breaker.
I never have the urge to surf while I talk anyway. thats just me tho 😎
I agree. I had a 3GS for about a year and I maybe did that once. But Verizon iPhones can talk and surf if they use wifi so it doesn't bother me a bit.

Who has switched from Droid X to iPhone, and what advice would you give me about doing the same?
