Solution: Don't get a smartphone!
If you don't like the prices, don't get a smartphone, simple as that. Honestly, how many of us ACTUALLY need a smart phone? The truth is, most of us don't need it. We have the internet at home and at work, and most of us aren't frequent travelors for our work. Business people on the go, do need a blackberry, yes, but most of us don't need a smartphone period.

We're glad you are here with us now. Sprint is notorious for having customer service that makes you want to scream and through your Sprint PCS phone at them.
With AT&T, you will get more coverage, more cooler phones, Luke Wilson, and a globe logo instead of some pin-drop feathery looking thing that nobody understands for a logo.

AT&T's big problem
They have too many layers of bureaucracy. Way too many. Too many departments, and none of them know what the other departments are doing. Policy is not the same across departments, and no one communicates with one another.
One time when I called in just to update some info on my account, I ended up being placed on hold for several minutes...just for something simple!

You can get unlimited web browsing for 10 bucks a month. I don't need it so I didn't opt for it.
Oh and unlike AT&T and Verizon, T-Mobile does not charge you to browse their mobile sites for downloads, etc.

Stan was a killer. When Cingular transitioned from TDMA to GSM, Stan made it was done fast and right. Whereas the defunct AT&T Wireless botched it all up...
If Stan were still the head of AT&T Mobility, we would have seen a more aggressive approach to fixing up and improving the network. but with De La Vega, AT&T is losing steam, which will result in her losing ground to other carriers.

Ever since De La Vega came into the picture AT&T has been degraded as a carrier.
Many other markets have network problems.
Will you admit to that, AT&T?! No. You'll just keep trying to sue your way back to the top instead of INVESTING in your substandard network. Once my contract is up, I am gone.
