awesome, thanks! one more quick question you may be able to help me with. when i start to send a text message, when i go to the "to" field, is there a way to type in the persons name and pull it from contacts? sounds pretty simple but its not pulling any of my contacts that way?
and yes after day 1 i love the droid so far.

Looking for some advice. I know the tour is by far the better of the two, but I am not a power user. i will use the email and use it for the internet. i am not do for an upgrade so i would be paying full retail for the tour. i can get a curve on ebay for about $150. is the tour really worth an extra 300 bucks?

phone warranty question
I was wondering if I buy a phone off of craigslist, it is supposed to be new, is there still a 1 year warranty with the phone? Will a verizon store still fix the phone? Or are you basically hosed if something happens to the phone.

I could go on forever, but yes there were other problems. i would say i took the battery out of that phone at least 3 times a day. constant screen freezes. kept gettin a "unknown error" message when trying to use the camera. when i finally had enough was when the phone would freeze every time i got a text message. i took the battery out about 10 times in a 3 hour period ...

i recently got the new boulder. i love it, however when i go into "my pictures" i cannot view any of the pictures i have taken. i am on software version 10. they sent me out a new phone, same problem...has anyone else ran into this? and if so do you know how to fix it

thank you for the help. i have been calling every store within an hour of me hoping to find one that had this phone. no luck. i might look for a different type phone, insurance is a must for me. we have 3 kids that have put 2 phones in the dogs water bowl, 1 in the toilet, and 1 in a bowl of chicken noodle soup

I have a question on how insurance works. I know you cannot get insurance on a phone that you buy off of ebay or somewhere else. the ear peice and camera are different. instead of trying to fix the problems with the krave they just said "screw off" to the people who bought the krave and decided to release the exact phone minus the problems

thank you. that is good to hear. i think its like $399.99, so that may be my christmas present to myself. what really sux is that my krave is about 5 weeks old so its to late to return. i love the kraves call quality but as far as the touch screen goes i would love to smash it with a baseball bat.

well it depends what you do a lot of. I dont text a whole lot, but if I did I would not recommend the Krave. Its call quality is outstanding. If you check out howardforums they actaully have it tested as the best phone ever offered as far as strictly call quality and reception go. higher then the v9 and old 815 however texting can be a major pain in the a**. there used to ...
moto krave software update
today i was able to run the software update on my phone. it has corrected all of the problems i was having, the touch screen calibration is completly fixed

texting is a major pain in the azz, so that would be a turnoff if you text alot. but as calling goes its awesome. i get excellent call quality on it. far better then my bb curve that is my work phone.

i had the adventure and i have the krave now. i can tell you that texting would be a pain in the a** if you do alot of it, but the call clarity is excellent on the krave. i have the bb curve for work and just returned the adventure, neither phone touchs the krave in call quality.

anyone else having volume problems with the adventure? i can hear fine if it is very quiet when i am talking. but if there is anytype of noise in the background forget it. i have been reading that the krave has great call quality, im thinkin of switching to that. does anyone have the krave? would you recommend it someone that is looking for a phone with good call quality and good to text with?

mine does the same thing. while i am sending text occasionaly mine will automatically send the text while i am still typing....if the phone worked like it is supposed to i would love it, but this is now the 3rd one i have gone through. the first vibrated while talking, the 2nd you could barely hear anyone and now this one having texting problems...i am just gonna go back to my v9 and deal with the battery ...

i have the moto adventure and love it, its a basic flip phone. im sure there are better phones for texting, i only text about 300 a month, but so far the phone works great for me.
