Dare, Adventure or Krave???
I am looking to get a new phone and have narrowed it down to one of these three....any comments? Thank you.

I forgot to add this one. Thanks

I would suggest waiting until around Christmas at this point. This is the time of year where phones are launched. Now then...Dare, Krav and Voyager are similar but the Adventure isn't even in the same ballpark. You're comparing apples to prunes there. Touchscreen phones versus an "abuse-me" flip-phone with PTT. The Voyager is old at this point and not worth it. The Krav...that plastic flip cover is a pain in the ass to do text or use the QWERTY. The Dare is a nice phone (with the right software version) and if they do release the next update with the right fixes...it'll be even better. It all depends on YOUR needs. Now, on the other side of things...there's a scaled back version of the Dare set to be coming one day and again...tis t...

and, if you are for some reason wanting an "abuse me" phone, i'd recommend not getting the adventure because it's not protected in any way against water.

Also true....and now that the Boulder's software release finally went out (gee that didn't take long at all.....how bout that ESPN MVP for the Dare?)....that one can do it all. But...if you have a small child that likes to throw your phone or anger control issues, the Adventure works 🤣

Or just wait for the new Boulder with the better speaker.

What is the "right" software version for the Dare...just in case 🙂

Depends on what day of the week it is...I believe it's v05 right now...with another coming.

Thank you for the advice....I am going to wait until after the holidays...and just see what comes out....I have been strongly leaning towards the Dare....you mentioned another update to fix things....is there an update in the works??? what does it fix? I just thought of the Adventure and Krave just because I have always had the best reception with Moto...but I agree that plastic flip thing on the Krave is a big pain in the ass (I tried it at the store)...I was so hoping Motorola would make a great non smart qwerty touch or not whatever...wondering if they will do anything worth it in 2009??

i had the adventure and i have the krave now. i can tell you that texting would be a pain in the a** if you do alot of it, but the call clarity is excellent on the krave. i have the bb curve for work and just returned the adventure, neither phone touchs the krave in call quality.

that's moto for you. always their advantage...! i'm surprised the adventure isn't on par with the krave in call clarity, but who knows?
