Is there such a thing as...

a GSM phone that accepts 2 SIM cards at one time? I am currently carrying 2 phones (moto v600 and nokia 6820) and would like to downsize if possible but I need the capability of 2 different phone numbers(work and personal) I am extremely fond of the Jabra bluetooth headset also, must be able to use with new device!!! Thanks for your feedback!

The new ATT phones

To Rich or whoever:

I am noticing alot of the new phones from att are GSM 1900. Will the "New Cingular" be only 1900 GSM or will they keep ATT 850 GSM?

The Difference

I have been in the business for about a year now, i have GSM Carriers, CDMA Carriers, as well as TDMA Carriers. I just wanted to know what the difference is as fare as frequency or whatever.

P.S. i can barely spell Technology let alone determine the difference

***LG VX6000 ERROR CODE***

I just recently purchased the LG VX6000. The phone itself isn't bad, but every time I try to receive pix messages I run into problems. I'm told that I have pix in my 'in box' but I can't view those pix. An error code reading: ERROR: NOT FOUND ON MMSC is shown. Verizon tech support has been nothing short of helpLESS! Anyone with some REAL words of advice?

is there a limit?

Every time I go to our Mall the Verizon store is jam packed with people signing up. Will they (or any carrier) ever reach a point where they have too many customers per cell?

Switching from Verizon to Nextel.

Can someone tell me who had Verizon as a carrier, if Nextel service is as good as Verizon. Would it be worth switching? I am in the New York City area.

Question about the Moto V60S & Mobile Phone Tools

Does anybody know if there's a patch available to make the V60S work with MPT? One of my customers is frustrated & I can't blame him. It seems that the Kit works with every other V60 but that one, and I can't find a patch on moto.com

GSM/CDMA/TDMA Spectrum Sharing?

Greetings,

To the best of my understanding, in Tulsa, GSM, TDMA and CDMA all make use of the 1900Mhz freqency band.

Try as I might, I just am totally unable to figure out how that can possibly work. Can anyone shed some light on that?

PCLink Software...

Just found out that you can get PCLink software for the Samsung VM-A680 phone from voicesignal.com.  This VoiceSignal speech technology is pretty cool in general, but using PCLink Software made getting names and numbers into my phone a lot easier.  It used to be such a pain to type names into my phonebook, now I never use my keypad and just dial by voice.....if you haven't seen this you have to check it out at www.voicesignal.com 😁

PCLink Sync Software

I just downloaded a free trial version of PCLink from www.voicesignal.com. I was able to sync all of my contacts from Outlook into my Samsung A680 phone. Pretty cool stuff. Anyone who has a Samsung A680 or A620 should def. try this.

Spectrum via ATTWS and Cingular

Ok here is a question that has been on the backburner of the ole mind.

When Cingular acquires ATTWS, what happens to the spectrum (airwave bandwith) that ATTWS owns?

Consider HOW MUCH spectrum Cingular will now own is just staggering. Granted its mostly redundant and covers 90% of the area they already own....

Anyone else think the FCC will force Cingular to release some of that spectrum? Or perhaps there will be a bunch of charges that Cing has to pay after the merger? Ideas? Comments/

Samsung

Does any one have basic simple instructions for
the Samsung (sgh-x427). The 165 page user guide is worthless to someone like me. All I want is on/off, store numbers, different ring tone...just basic uses.

Thank you,
Larry
