Play Jumbli and win a Pantech phone!

Hey all,

I thought some of you might be interested in checking out Jumbli, an interactive texting game. Compete against your friends on Facebook or via your mobile phone for a chance to win a Pantech mobile phone. AT&T is giving away 3 Pantech messaging devices every day for a month to Jumbli winners.

Click here to start playing: http://www.clickthat2006.com/att/jumbi.aspx

Good luck!

Blackberry Storm

Is the front touch screen made of glass or plastic. Does it scratch easily? Would you buy the insurance on your cell phone? I will be getting my Blackberry on this Tuesday.

"WORD" solution

I want to use Microsoft Office(write/edit/send Word attachments), make calls and sync to my home laptop later. Multimedia would be nice, a slide out keyboard would be excellent good, and cost effective a major plus!
Do any of these newer phones have fast browser capability or am I better off with a Netbook that has it? Basically, I need a really small laptop/tablet that is a phone too. I need to to complete work easily and discreetly anywhere. I work outdoors, in the dark sometimes.
Just tell me not to waste any more time looking if this is still beyond smartphones.
I heard Blackberries are acceptable in some places (I don't know why) but I need to be able to write formal Word docs from it and send, if possible. That would also mean hav...

I was wondering...

I see alot of sites that do the free games, ringers, wallpaper, etc. and I was wondering, how do they do it? How can they afford to create all this and NOT charge for it? Or is there some hidden charge I am not seeing?

gps

I'm kinda new to all the latest tech....was wondering if the navigation feature on cell phones compares to a nav system in a car, say for example onstar? Is it reasonably priced from the major cell providers? What should I watch for? What should I stay away from? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.....

Nokia 6102i - test mode - netmonitor

Does anyone have the key sequence to put a Nokia 6102i into test (netmonitor) mode?

I realize that not all models of phones have netmonitor, I'm talking about IF the phone I have has netmonitor installed, how would I access it.

Thanks. 😕

SDHC cards?

Okay, so I know what an SD card is, but I've seen some ads for an "SDHC" card that looks exactly like an SD card. Does anyone know what this is exactly?

Free Games?

I'm bored and wanted to download another game for my blackberry besides brickbreaker... but don't feel like paying for it.

I tried looking at website like funformobile and phonezoo, but neither have games for blackberry. Then I found this website through google... bbgeeks.com/blackberry-games/170-free-games-f or-your-blackberry-88159/ ..

states it's free but I'm nervous and can't find the FAQS to double check.

Can anyone help?

Best phone for signal strength?

I'm in the market for a new Verizon phone, and want one that can do well with the not-so-strong signal at my house. What specs or features give a phone better signal-receiving ability? I don't give a whit about bells and whistles; I just want more than the 1 to 2 bars I'm getting on my 2-year-old LG VX8300. I use it for voice only, not data, so I'm assuming that it doesn't matter if the phone has EVDO rev 0 or A (not that I really know what those are...)

Thanks for any advice or insight you can offer!

I need help..... would be greatful if i get helped. ( HTC MDA)

I know my phone is old but i'm using it in Jamaica now. I got it unlocked and it was running good until i selected storage reset and it reset everything on the phone to factory settings. Now i'm trying to set up the windows mobile on it and its giving me hell. the only thing i can do with the handset,is make and receive calls and also for sms.

Everything is disable until i get the windows thing setup. Is there a way i can go around that by running the programmes from the software cd unto the phone?

😢 if so, i relly need a software cd. If any1 has the link for the HTC MDA software online, send me the link plz 🤭

Unocked Phones?? CDMA

If any one has a few mins to exlpain something to me, i would appricate it.

I am new to this industry, But as i understand it, a CDMA phone can be "set up" to work on a diffrent system.

I work at a CDMA retialer(reginal), I have spoken with people in the store about buying a HTC pro when they come out.

I was told it would not work with out the proper software loaded on to the phone. When i pressed for a more detailed anwser, they ran out of information.

We have a very strong network in the south, infact we have OTHER carriers like Sprint and Altel that set the phones up to Tune in to our Towers for customers that can not get coverage in key locations.

So my quesiton is, knowing that other carriers can set their phones...
