If my friend unlocked an AT&T phone to be used on her T-Mobile service, would someone with AT&T still be able to use that phone?

Hi I am new to the whole Alltel BB 8130 Red Pearl.

I love my new phone but I wanted to know if any of you could help me figure out if I am able to view my favorite site. It's a live game drive in Africa...website is www.zaplive.tv/web/we/home.

I can view the site but not the video, do I need to add something to my phone or adjust the settings?

ok, about a week ago i bought a helio hero slider on ebay. it has been flashed for cricket service. i got it activated,it calls and texts just fine, but it wont send picture messages, or get on the internet.

is there anythuing i can do? i have pic.s and internet on my plan. do i need to get the phone flashed again? i know the guy at the cricket store said it may have problems like this. i just need to know are they permament? or can they be resolved?

any help would be appreciated.

I am trying to find both GSM and CDMA phones that have NetMonitor cababilities. In the past I have been able to get the Nokia 6230 GSM and the Nokia 6016 CDMA as well as Sanyo 2300 and Sanyo 3100 both also CDMA.

Lately I have been having difficulty finding these models new.

Does anyone know of any new models with NetMonitor capabilities.

I have a Mot 325i that is coming up on its contract date. Want to upgrade but need a phone that works well in fringe reception areas. I'm on Verizon in the CO mtns. The phone and service do pretty well but many times I'm in areas of poor reception. How can I upgrade and know that I'm getting the best phone for reception? Heard that Mot is coming out with an Adventure phone soon - it is ruggedized, etc. How can I evaluate a phones internal reception quality?

I have 2 SX5T CDMA (Sprint) terminals. I love them. Of course i am beginning to have an issue with one that is located in an area with brownouts and other power issues. After 3+ years, I'm finally noticing one have an issue with making outbound calls and have seen it reboot itself randomly. I've been thinking about uprgading to the SX7T but wanted opinions about the device before I drop $650 on it.

As I evaluate phones, I find that there is plenty of information about the style and appearance of the phone, the pixel dimensions and color depth of the display, the battery charging time and battery talk/standby times, the phone's ability to play games, to play music, to input text, to run Java apps, to connect to blue-tooth devices, etc.

But having just had the experience from hell trying to use an LG Shine in locations where other, cheaper phones work fine, I have a simple question:

How come nobody provides information on the receiver sensitivity in mV, the effective radiated power of the phone's transmitter, the signal-to-noise ratio what the phone will tolerate, etc.? How about signal rejection for when you're trying to use, say...

heyhey i have a samsung alias and just got myself a 2 gig card for it. now putting mp3s on it was simple enough, but im not sure what file format i should have my videos in. can anyone help point me in the right direction?

So there are a ton of myths out there and i want to know if anyone can debunk them.

1. Battery charging. is it really harmful to partially charge a battery/ is it best to let it die before charging?

1b. Is it bad to talk on a phone while its charging (was told by a customer a coworker told him they cn blow up)

2. Talking on your phone while pumping gas. I was told a while ago that it could cause fumes to ignite to talk on a cell phone, just wondering if this is still the case.

Anyone know the answers?

Hello, I have a Razr V3t (spelled V3T inside the phone, FWIW) and the outside LCD screen glass is cracked (LCD is OK). I only use this on mission trips to the Philippines, so I don't want to put much money into it. I found a replacement glass on eBay, but it say it's for a V3i. I am wondering if the V3i and V3t use the same LCD screen glass. It's bigger than the standard V3 glass. If anyone works on these things perhaps he/she can answer. Also, if you have a screen glass to sell please let me know. Thanks in advance for your help.

so heres the lingering question, when us employees had our rah rah meetings when they announceed UMTS they didn't even want it to be called 3g, and if any detroit reps who are out there remember our former fearless leader (glad hes gone the big M does a terrific Job) said that it was gonna be comparable to dsl speed internet on the phone, now all of the sudden after the networks out no mention has been made about how much faster ours is compared to the other guys, so does anyone have a clue how fast this 3g is gonna be? we claimed it was gonna be the new sliced bread but now i'm wondering if its the same 3g as the other guys? 🤨

does anyone know if helio phones can be unlocked and if so, is there a way to use them on verizon or sprint networks. also does anyone know if other phones from sprint and verizon can be used on helio's network? i really like sprint's rumor and more so than the ocean. thanks ya'll!
