Samsung M520 - locking and caller photo id issues

A few issues, if anyone has the solution, it'd be greatly appreciated.

1) How do I lock the phone at all times? I know I can set it so that it locks when turning on the phone, but after I unlock it, it remains unlocked. A lot of phones re-lock itself after the backlight goes off or after a few minutes of inactivity.

2) Does anyone have the problem with the photo caller id being cut at the top? I take a pic of a friend and when he calls, all I see is half his eyes and down. Resolution problem? Size problem?

3) When a photo is assigned from My Albums to a contact, the photo is copied over, such that when the photo is deleted from My Albums, the contact entry would still have the photo. Now let's say I delete the contact also, wou...

where do you...

find ringtones and mp3s to make into ringtones? I have found various sites to make them (supposedly for free) but am wondering if there is an easier way. Verizon charges a small fortune for a simple ringtone. Where can I find free MP3's (or cheap MP3's that I can turn into ringtones? I used to use ITUNES but apparently those cannot be converted ...uugghh!

Verizon, Nextel or Sprint

What are everybody's thoughts on the service of these 3 companies? I have had Nextel for about 8 years now and just got the blackberry 7100i. Now I keep hearing about all these new blackberry's with other companies and get pissed!!! The ONLY reason that I don't switch is because of the direct connect. It seems like Verizon has so many more great phones. Just wanted to get thoughts from people. Thanks 🙂

Wanted: Quad-band dual-sim wifi PDA

Hello,

I am in dire need of a quad-band, dual-sim, wifi-enabled PDA cellphone. I found a dual-band one, but that doesn't help me since I live in the states. Does anyone know if such a thing exists? Or will soon exist?

Thanks!!!

Setting ringtones DIRECTLY from Micro SD Card

Is there a way to set the ringtone directly from the Micro sd card on the voyager or do I , as many have said, have to picture message it from the card to my phone? I thought that I had read somewhere on these boards that there was a way to set it directly from the card rather than clogging up the memory on the phone itself. Thanks!
