Slider

Which one is better, the slider or the Vx6000. Please base it on the features (ringer ID, picture ID, Brew) and color (65,000) and how well they work and how reliable they are.

free ringtones for those of you with camera phones

Start at Eringers.com and search the poly tones. Click the tone name you want from the list. This will take you to a download screen. Place a check-mark in the "MIDI" format box and scroll to the bottom to click on download. This takes you to a new screen that gives you a URL. The site wants you to use your mobile web to navigate to the URL, but you don't do that. Look at the text under the URL. There is an option to click "MY TONES" which takes you to the specific url for the tone you selected. Right click that URL and "SAVE TARGET AS" to your computer. Now you have the midi file on your system. Log onto vzwpix.com and create a message to yourself using media from your computer i.e. the midi file as an audio attachment. This will...

How is Verizon coverage for Maine????

I am moving from Florida to Maine
The currnet company I am with does not have nationwide svc so I am looking into another carrier. Personally I don't want to do a contract so I was wondering if you can sign up w/o one & just buy the phone outright & how is the coverage in the midcoast area of Maine?

I was planning on purchasing my phone & setting up svc while I was still in Florida & having either a # local to S. Florida or an 800 # (for business reasons) Does anyone know if I live up there but have my acct down in Fl would that be a problem or affect my bill in anyway???

Thanks in advance

Looking for an old bell ring tone...

I am new to Verizon, just switched from AT&T GSM due to the fact that I travel to so many places that GSM has not yet been deployed in.

I used to have a Sony Ericsson T616 which has a great old fasioned telephone ring tone on it (called Old Phone). I love the sound of an old bell phone on my modern cell phone.

I have purchased a LG 4400b with Verizon and have been playing around with GetItNow. I have not yet found a ring tone out there that matches this old phone and I am getting tired of paying $1.99 to download a ringtone application that I don't end up using.

Does anyone know of a ringtone supplier out there that has this old phone ringer?

Thanks.

COVERAGE IN MORRISTOWN NJ

Just wondering if anyone could give me input on how verizon coverage is in the Morristown NJ area. The map that verizon has looks like its going to be good, but I would like to see what experience people who have been there or live there can tell me.

Thanks

verizon's PTT

I know verizon takes forever to get new phones, but does anyone know of any new PTT phones, or how good the PTT service is? Everyone I talked to says it sucks next to sprint's ready link, and even further behind nextel's direct connect. Should I wait around for verizon to get up to par, or go with sprint or nextel if want walkie talkie feature?

Speaker Phone Units !!!!!

Can anyone advise if there are any good speaker phone units out there for my v60? I don't mean cell phones that have speaker phones, I am talking about aftermarket units that connect to a cell phone for use in a car. I know Motorola has a couple that are compatible and have seen one or 2 in best buy, but wanted to see if anyone had any good or bad experiences with any of them. Any info would be appreciated. 🤣

Want Verizon to fix it?

The exact name of the TWO forms Verizon reps can fill out that Verizon has is to get things fixed
1) "Verizon voice of the customer"
2) "Trouble Ticket"
The "Trouble Ticket" once submited has a tracking number to keep updated and is the one to request to make changes happen since it can have on record what the concern is and what Verizon has done and when to fix it with on record when you call to check on it.

You may want to try what I have done and every one should if they want Verizon to fix them. Check my post called "Want Verizon to fix it? " on details.

Verizon's GSM European capabilities

Verizon's current "rent-in-advance" program is a clumsy solution for those of us who love Verizon's North American coverage, but have to travel at a day's notice to Europe. There, my Blackberry and phone are useless, except as paperweights or conversation starters. Any further word on timing for a GSM/CDMA phone? I know about the Samsung product, but is the company approaching some internal deadline? 🙄
