Motorola V60C Question

i know that the original v60c supposedly has a 'fixed' cover design but has anyone successfully swapped there's before? (i don't care for the v60i but like that the covers are changeable).

thanx!

Another Motorola V60C Question (Battery)

me again. it's sunday so i'm being superlazy by asking this question instead of going to a verizon store. i have the motorola v60c (awesome phone - best verizon phone yet!) and have the slim/standard battery that came with it. is there a replacement higher-capacity battery available at the same size? i don't care for the bigger batteries that add bulk to my phone.

thanx!!!

Any good new phones coming out for VZW?

I'm a V60 user and my phone is acting up. I'm also sick of the antenna breaking. I'm at the point in my contract where I can get a new phone cheaply. Looking at the new phones, they all have bells and whistles that just don't do it for me. Plus, most of the new phones seem to be made of very low quality plastics and seem very fragile. The battery life on these new phones seems to be on the low side as well. Are they any new phones on the horizon for VZW? The only feature I'd probably be interested in is bluetooth. I'm seriously considering the current Nokia offering just so I can get some better battery life. Is there a v600 variant coming out for VZW?

The Cingular vs Verizon Thing

I work for the Cingular Retention Center, and let me tell you; most of Cingular employees (including myself) have different providers, mostly Verizon and Sprint, Cingular is giving me a fre cell phone for, just for being an employee I was going to pass on the offer but I saw this phone that Verizon does'nt have (Sony Ericsson T226) I fell in love with it, and hey! it's free...! so Im going to jump on the GSM "sinking ship" and test the GSM technology here in FL, Im a bit eskeptical since I call customers everyday who complaing and regret for switching from TDMA to GSM, I hear them complain about how they don't have coverage in places they used to. Im excited about the fact of having 2 cell phones one with CDMA and another with GSM, and NO, I...

Coverage in the Colorado Springs Area

Just wondering if anyone could give me input on how verizon coverage is in the Colorado Spring area. I'm getting ready to be stationed there so I'm just curious. The map that verizon has looks like its going to be good, but I would like to see what experience people who have been there or live there can tell me.

Thanks

Very Interesting

Now that Cingular and ATT are one. What would the chances be for Verizon and TMobile merging? That would be great for Cingular and Verizon customers. They would then have the best of the two worlds. But, that could create a problem in California since Cingular and TMobile both share Cingular's cell sites and in New York Cingular shares TMobiles sites. At least that is what I have been lead to believe.
Dumb Dumb Dumb. I just renewed with Verizon for 2 years, but it maybe worth the $175 to switch to Cingular. Lots can happen in 6 months. At present, Verizon is still the best and could remain so even with this merger. If you are 2nd, you try harder. Let's hope Verizon tries real hard.

yahooo!!!

just happy today that i was able to exchange my old, beatup motorola v60c for FREE!!! boy am i pleased! until verizon gets real and serious about their lame phone selection, i'm sticking with my old, reliable and quite sexy motorola v60c. understanded chic is what you have to settle for when the current crop of phones are sh*t! hahaha...

pisses me off the gsm providers get all the kickass phones while cdma get's the ones left in the sh*tbasket. yeah yeah yeah, i know about service and signal quality over fancy designs but dammit! we're americans and we deserve the best! give the rejects to the canadians! arrghh!!! hahaha...

Samsung A690!! "JUST A RUMOR "

I was talking to a VZW Tech today. I was asking if he knew anything about the Samsung A690 and the release date. He said that there is a rumor going around that it isn't going to be released anytime soon because they are upgrading the software to support the 1xEV-DO or something like that. Something to make it work better on the PTT network and with Mobile Web. He said they are currently rolling out the 1xEV-DO right now and it is only available in 2 cities, D.C. and San Diego. To me, I have no clue what this means, so if somebody can explain, I will be grateful.

Phone Dates

Does anyone know of the phone dates for the phones that are scheduled to come out in the next two quarters. I am primarily looking for the Samsung A670, the Samsung A790, and the LG-VX7000. I know of the V810 in April, but I am looking more for a phone that is camcorder, or just generally away from Motorola because their battery life is horrible on my phone.

Thanks for any info.

Non-functional Verizon Wireless Sync

Got an i600 with the unlimited express network plan and wireless sync.

How the HECK are Verizon selling this wireless sync? It almost NEVER works, and when it DOES work, it's slower than a nudist climbing a barbed-wire fence.... 90% of the time when I try to sync, I get "last synchronization unsuccessful"... Has anyone bothered Verizon about this, or would I be the first one?

Also, the WAP/PIM interface is completely broken. Attempting to access your info via http://wap.spontec.com as provided by the installation directions yields:
