7:00 N/W ?
Does anyone know if VZW will have their nights and weekends staring at 7:00? Thanks

Verizon is no where close to changing their night and weekend times. Currently I work as an indirect rep for Verizon. I've spoke with may people from VZW; it doesn't make sense for them to change their times, the network is busy at 7. call quality would go down, more calls would be droped. They are #1 right now. They are adding more customers than any other carier. why change something that doesn't need to be changed? if verizon needed more customers, they wouldn't have such stiff deposits, give more than one choice of a free phone, give mass amounts of minutes for close to nothing.

their minutes are less then aws, equal or less then cing depend on plan, less the tmo, and even less then sprint.

that's exactly what I mean. they don't give as many minutes as other cariers because we don't need to. Why have minutes when you can't get service????

i don't know where you live but it's the exact opposite here. vzw has the worst ACTUAL coverage (screw what the maps say) in the entire area, more holes then a block of swiss cheese. i have attws gsm and have actual usage in almost the entire state (partually due to free roaming agreement with cing).

Here in Findlay, Ohio it is the complete opposite. AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, Nextel suck in this area. Only Alltel & Verizon work.
I agree, Verizon needs to get with the times on thier rate plans, but I am more interested in the network, then all the extras. I depend on my Verizon phone as I used to with my landline. Finally did away with SBC/Ameritech landline. Cheaper & better customer service with Verizon than EVER with SBC/Ameritech.

With Verizon's new In-network calling, you can call ANYTIME for FREE if you are calling another VerionWireless subscriber, so the 7pm N/W doesn't even matter :-)

The 7PM N&W thing is a thing of the past, I remember when Bell South Mobility (Verizon's old name) had 7PM N&W but it was almost 10 years ago. But now, it alway seems that it keeps getting later. When I came back to "Verizon" it was 8PM N&W. But back then it was an additional $10 per phone.

Sorry, VZW doesn't have to give away the house to entice customers... the only reason other carriers have hey come rob us blind specials is because their network is HORRIBLE and they have to bribe people to use their god forsaken network. Look for QUALITY not QUANTITY! Lets talk about churn... it's nice to know that vzw has the LOWEST churn rate in the industry, lets talk about dropped calls, oh nice again that vzw has lowest in the industry, lets talk about network spending.. nice that vzw is investing $5billion into its network AGAIN this year. I like a company that actually gives a return to their customers. We pay vzw on average $45/mo and in return, they give me awesome customer service. I drove from Seattle to Milwaukee and had service...
