Bluetooth and Acura TL

Has anyone had luck pairing a 730 with an 04 Acura TL? Based on earlier exchanges, it was challenging. Would love to hear feedback on what works and what doesn't...

Does it Really Have BlackBerry e-mail support?

I know the summary of this device on the Info page here specifically mentions BlackBerry e-mail support. I stopped by a Verizon Wireless store, ready to buy, and spoke with a seemingly knowledgeable rep, who said he was unaware of anything about "BlackBerry e-mail support" on the SCH-i730. He reviewed the literature that came with it, checked with his colleagues, and concluded that I was mistaken. He claimed the VZEmail provided "as good" push email and wondered if what I had read referred to "Blackberry-type" email support.

Verizon's site doesn't mention Blackberry email support, at least not prominently enough for me to locate it, and says nothing about a specific Blackberry-related service package. Finally, no users on the forums I ha...

The buzz has died - time to move on?

The flow of information has slowed considerably on the i730, which is to be expected since it's been on the market for some time. It appears you're either in one of two camps - either you're a PDA guy and love it, or you're more of a phone guy and really think it's not up to par.

So that said, what is everyone hearing about upcoming smartphones? Any buzz on the Sammy i640/645?

Pocket PC software compatibility

Currently I own an iPAQ 3975 PPC. I have been playing with the tought switching to a ppc/phone in one. Thank God for this great website I'm really going towards buying this model from Verizon. I have lots of pocket pc applications for my current PDA which I use regularly. Are they going to be compatible with this device? I'm also considering the Audiovox XV6600 unit. Any help is appreciated. Thanks! 😁

Someone took my purse!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've seen a bunch of responses about a DUN #777 and it allows internet access, but how , is it free , how much does it cost , I use to have a Sanyo MM-5600 but lost it at the mall along with my purse , Sprint sent me a Samsung A800 because the Sanyo was out of stock , let me just say that this phone is amazing , its so cute and pretty and sexy , but enough about me...Just Kidding ! But if anyone can teach me or help me in my predicament I would greatly appriciate it considering everyone here on this website is very educated in cellular phones and services. Thanks in advanced.

Camera and WM5.0

It seems the postings on this forum have died down recently, however my interest in finding out any information about 5.0 and a camera has not. Please post anything that may have developed in the last week, it would be much appreciated.

Complicated Web Sites-Trouble with Video Playback

Can this phone get to complicated Web sites like ESPN? Can it download all the graphics at EVO speeds. I am trying to use this like I would a Laptop. The other problem is that it won't play Video Clips from ESPN, Baseball Highlights. A PC, and a laptop will.

Is this because because the screen can't fit the entire page?

Headphone Jack

I listened to a lot of music on my iPAQ, so I have several pairs of 3.5mm headphones.

I saw the thread where it was suggested that I use a 2.5 to 3.5 adapter. I tried this, but the i730's jack has three inputs, not the usual two for stereo music. Using the adapter triggers the phone if even a slight movement in the adapter occurs.

Are you aware of any 3 input adapters out there?

Thanks,
Craig.

MLB.com and Streaming Video

Help!!!!!
Why won't the streaming Video work from MLB.com? Do I have to have an expanded Memory Card? Won't it work with the 128 that is built in, and isn't EVDO supposed to be immediate like it would from a PC on Broadband?

Playing VIDEO from MLB.com-HELP!!!!

Will this work easy to get to MLB.com and play streaming Video with the EVO High speed?
The store doesen't have the extended memory cards, and it won't work with the built in 128 Memory.

I am in Troy, Mi and it's a new Broadband speed market. Please tell me if this will work?

MLB.com, and Playing Video

I went to a VRZ store yesterday to get a demo of this phone, as Detroit is now a Broadband market. MLB.com comes up, but it's still kind of slow and it will not play video directly from the site. The guy said it could be because the Memory is limited, as it would work with the 2GIG card.

How easy is it to 1. Play Video, Babseball highlights, and 2 display7 a full page without having to scroll.

Does this PDA device do that better than anything out there? Or I am I better off with a Lap Top?

Quick Question: Have you used this phone as a Laptop modem?

Curious if any of you have successfully used this phone to surf the web at high speed on a laptop through either a USB cable or the bluetooth connection.

Let me know as this is the key factor in my purchase decision.

Thx.
