help out i want the 5600 and i thought i qualified for rebate

Man Im so pissed off! I checked my availability for a rebate online and it said 10/25/05 im like wtf!?!?! I been with them since 07/3/03. That means I should have qualified last month in Jan. I called them and they said oh because you changed your phone in april of 04 to the 8200 which I bought with my own money no rebate or nothing. They said I have to wait til october because they started counting over again since april?!?! I mean I been with them for awhile now and im paying at least 100 or more a month for my bill. Is there anything I can do because I really don't wanna pay 400 for the 5600

Upgrading from the Sanyo 7400 to 5600?

Is it worth upgrading from Sanyo 7400 to the 5600? Is the phone really worth $429 with all those features it has?

This device is lacking some major features such as bluetooth, full-duplex speakerphone, and EV-DO. Will there be any Sanyo phones released within three months after the 5600 comes out to local sprint stores? If so, will that phone have more features than the 5600?

features + desgin = good phone

The designs of a phone as almost as important as it features and conveniences. I always consider both before I buy a phone. I like shiny nice things. 🙂

The 5600, although it will have some great useful feature, is an ugly phone. It's probably the worst Sanyo design I ever seen. I took back a brand new 7400 when I heard this phone was comin out. I see the second picture was change with a gray 5600 but that really doesn't hide it unattractive design.

Anyway, any sprint alternatives other than the MM-535? Did anyone hear about any new phones comin out later this year? I think I’ll skip the 5600.

MPX220 vs MM5600

My phone is on its last leg and I don't know if I can wait until mid-March. I've done some researching and the MPX220 offered by Cingular seems to be comparable... any gurus out there that can help me with the comparison?

omg, i just talked to a rep

i just got a telegram from a alpo dog food rep out in indian who said he talked to his babysitters friend out in arkansas.

i guess the babysitter's friends knew this guy who used to work for sprint back in 1994 and this guy claims to know that luke's father is actually darth vadar. anyway, he pointed out that the new sanyo mm-5600 is ready to be shipped, but no one knew the exact ship date, so he called around.

after hours of deliberation over the phone, he finally got to talk to a toys r us rep. the rep said that if you want to buy battlefield 2 for the pc, you have to wait until the 2nd quarter. he then told the guy to go visit sam, a verizon rep, and he would be able to give him more information on the mm-5600.

so, when he arr...

Import video...

Okay, lets say we get our cool new phone and get ourselves a new 256mb mini SD card, we download some MP3s to listen to but will we be able to watch videos from that same SD card that were not filmed with the phone? Wouldnt it be cool to watch your favorite shows or even movies right from your phone? Sorry if it the answers in the manual, im just too lazy to read it.

It'd better do this.. or else

Ok, I currently have the Sanyo 5500 and have some rather strong complaints about it. When going off the Sprint network, the phone instantly forgets what time it is. Even when going from sprint to digital roaming or analog roaming, if you see the time on the phone and go off network it doesn't know what time it is. When you go into look at the calender, it'll ask you to set the time. If you turn the phone on after it being off for a few hours, it doesn't know the time. It has a backup battery for the address book, but no capacity with all it's fancy technology to keep the time. This is something that REALLY pisses me off. Also, when going from the web back to the phone, there is no way to get the "web link available" to get off the phone with...

MM-5600 on the Sanyo Website

The 5600 is finally on Sanyo's website. This just 2 days after I spoke to a rep from Sanyo/Fisher who told me that they would be posting info on their site soon. She also told me that Sprint is expected to make some sort of a press release or a statement this coming week on their website regarding the 5600. On the website it states that it should be available in mid-March. I am dissapointed since I called a Sprint rep yesterday and they said last week of February but atleast it is not confirmed and final. Here is the link for the 5600.

Talked to Sanyo (NOT Sprint)

I just got off the phone with a rep from Sanyo/Fisher. I called their phone and I left a message with my name and number and they called me back within a minute. I told her that I was looking for some information on a product that wasn't yet released she asked what kind of product when I said mobile phone she automatically knew it was the 5600. She said she did not have much info but advised to go on phonescoop.com (Sanyo knows about PhoneScoop) she said that PhoneScoop may not be accruate because the device has not been finalized I said that I don't need any information regarding specs but more on a release date. She said she thinks its going to be another 30 days. Mostly becasue Sprint is holding it back. 😢 👿 She however said th...
