any word on the release date?
I hope it is. I am ready with my refund check to go get it. I'm going to the Sprint store tonight with my g/f. She is getting the MM-7400. I will be jealous of her for a little while since she will have a better phone. I have the 5500 right now but soon I will have the 5600 and she will be jealous of mine. 🙂

I talked to my sprint rep on Monday and he told me that the phone is coming out real soon and he told me to come to sprint store next Wed so he could get me all set up. The phone might be out at sprint stores next week. Radio Shack said the phone would be out in two weeks.

I just talked with my technician, (I work for Alamosa which is Sprint's largest affiliate) and he said the phone should be out late March/early April. That could just be for affiliated markets, that may not be true for corporate areas.

I called Sprint Business Account Customer Service and got this really nice rep by the name of Cindy who was very eager to help me out. She was able to pull up the 5600 on the computer and she was able to see a picture and some specifications and it said coming soon but no specific date.
