Sanyo MM-5600
MPX220 vs MM5600
My phone is on its last leg and I don't know if I can wait until mid-March. I've done some researching and the MPX220 offered by Cingular seems to be comparable... any gurus out there that can help me with the comparison?

This is an easy answer. Which service provider do you want your servcie thru. MPX220 go with Cingular if you want to wait for the SANYO 5600 go with Sprint. That wasnt too hard.

I had this same dilemma. the feature set of the MPx220 is so solid on paper, i was on the verge of leaving Sprint altogether and actually did purchase a MPx 220 from Best Buy in Nov. as i was getting sick and tired of waiting for the MM-5600. I did not port my Sprint phone number, i simply got a separate phone number and line just to test the MPx 220 out. I RETURNED IT AFTER 1 DAY! The 1MP camera ABSOLUTELY SUCKED, worse than a camera with 1/8 it's resolution (the sanyo 8100 was my comparision), the ringers weren't loud, the outer screen wasn't crisp and the interface was difficult to get used to for someone who has been using sanyo's and samsung's for the past couple years. the 5600 will be a much better phone, no doubt.
