Couple of Questions for Amped01 or any Sprint Insider

1) Just making sure, will this phone support Multimedia service Sprint now offers?

2) Can you assign more than 2-9 as speed dial numbers, because that is an great feature on my current Samsung?

3) Will this phone have the 2x2 screen like the Toshiba/Audiovox VM4050? I like the 4050 because it has the largest screen of Sprint flip phones, it shows the entire vision home page and full CNN pages.

4) Oh yeah, will they be droppin the price on the 4050 again anytime soon? Its discontinued and still $309.

Thanks

Sanyo 5600 speed dialing feature

I want to know will this new phone have more speed dial locations? I used to own the Sanyo 8100 (it died on me). I loved that phone but it was lacking one feature that I want that my current Samsung A680 has. That is speed dialing from more than just locations 2-9. I don't understand why Sanyo is the only ones that don't allow you to assign more than just 8 locations. My boyfriend is number 37 on my current phone (I know you are wondering. When I met him I had 36 people alreay entered and I didn't feel like moving things around just to put him at the top). On a Sanyo phone I would truly have to choose who would go in those 8 spots. I hate that. Sometimes I remember the speed dial number faster than trying to get the phone to dial it with voi...

What is the max MB of the 5600

I understand that it has a card slot but whats the max memory(card size). Also amped01 you said the SD slot on the 5600 you will be able to play much more then one hour but the specs say you record 30 sec max at a time, will the card let you exceed that 30 sec or will you multiple 30 sec videos. 😁

Umm.....SAY CHEESE!

😁 I don't know whether to get a Samsung P735 or a Sanyo MM-5600, I want the Samsung P735 because it has over one hour of video recording PLUS you can put video wallpaper as your phones background. Does Sanyo MM-5600 have a 1 hour of video recording and video wallpaper? If it does then I'm getting a Sanyo for sure! PLEASE HELP! 😳

General information request...

This phone looks really amazing. I started out with a Samsung on the Sprint network and changed to a Sanyo. Sanyo has worked the best out of the two phones.

It's been answered when the phone is coming out - early 2005, I've heard and beleive early March.

However, I've heard conflicting stories about how much this phone will be exactly? Does ANYONE who has a LAGIT answer know the correct cost of this phone? I've heard $399, $450, etc - but I would like to know exact. Thanks!

Everything you need to know about this phone (Technical)

Background information: I am on board sprints TechTeam in an undisclosed location in the U.S. 😉 What my Department does is 95% of the testing on all of the phones released. We work very closely with the FCC and internal support. This phone has gotten more attention on the Sprint network then anyother phone in the past, thats why I am posting this info. Usually we all just sit back and laugh at the "My cousins uncle's nefew is a sprint employee and he said this" type of threads.

FCC:
- No, this phone has bot been approved yet by the FCC. We are pushing very hard to get it approved THIS MONTH. We had several R/F and wattage issues that we had to work out. The power that phone was requiring was actually decreasing wattage low...

Right now i have a v400 which has 5mb of memory. And thats not enough. But if you want to store videos with this phone along withmp3 ringtones and pics youll be dissapointed by its limits. Hopefully it will have expandable memory.
